The Lebanese Youth Hostels Federation invites you to apply for the:
IOU Respect 2026 Program in France
An international youth initiative bringing together participants from:
Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, France, Germany, and the United States.
What does the program include?
A rich cultural and humanitarian experience lasting approximately 15 days (from July 22 to August 3, 2026)
Cultural dialogue sessions, volunteer activities, and diverse cultural and touristic programs
A unique opportunity to represent Lebanon as an ambassador of intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding
Eligibility Criteria:
Aged between 18 and 26
Holder of a valid passport
Fluent in English (an interview will be conducted to assess proficiency)
Fully available throughout the entire duration of the program
Financial Coverage:
The program covers accommodation, daily meals, and all official activities.
Participants are responsible for Schengen visa fees, round-trip airfare (Beirut – Paris – Beirut), and personal expenses.

ماذا يتضمن البرنامج؟
- تجربة ثقافية وإنسانية غنية تمتد لحوالي 15 يومًا من 22 تموز الى 3 آب 2026
- جلسات حوارية ثقافية، أنشطة تطوعية، برامج سياحية وثقافية
- فرصة لتمثيل لبنان كسفير/سفيرة للحوار والتفاهم بين الثقافات

شروط التقديم:
- أن يتراوح العمر بين 18 و26 سنة
- حيازة جواز سفر صالح
- إجادة اللغة الإنكليزية بطلاقة (سيُجرى مقابلة لتقييم المستوى)
- التفرغ التام طوال مدة البرنامج

التغطية المالية:
البرنامج يغطي: الإقامة، الوجبات اليومية، وجميع الأنشطة الرسمية
ويغطي المشارك/المشاركة: تكاليف تأشيرة شنغن، تذكرة السفر (بيروت – باريس – بيروت)، والمصاريف الشخصية.

تعمل حملة “بيتي بيتك” التي يديرها الاتحاد اللبناني لبيوت الشباب على تأمين الألبسة للعائلات النازحة، بما يلبي احتياجاتهم لجميع الفئات العمرية في ظلّ الظروف الصعبة.
The Bayti Baytak campaign, implemented by the Lebanese Youth Hostels Federation, provides displaced families with clothing essentials that meet their needs across all age groups amid challenging conditions.

الاتحاد الدولي لبيوت الشباب يتابع جهود لبنان الإغاثية ويشيد بمبادرة “بيتي بيتك”

في متابعةٍ للجهود الإغاثية التي يبذلها الاتحاد اللبناني لبيوت الشباب، تواصل رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لبيوت الشباب ستيفان كورمان مع قيادة الاتحاد اللبناني، حيث اطّلع على الأوضاع العامة في لبنان، سيما مبادرة “بيتي بيتك”، التي أطلقت استجابةً للظروف الراهنة، وتم خلال الاتصال شرح آليات التدخل المباشر لدعم العائلات النازحة، سواء عبر توفير الإيواء في بيوت الشباب وغيرها من المراكز أو تقديم المساعدات الغذائية والخدمات الصحية والاجتماعية وكذلك برامج الدعم النفسي للاطفال من خلال الرياضة والفنون.
وقد نوّه رئيس الاتحاد الدولي بالجهود التي يبذلها الاتحاد اللبناني ومتطوّعوه من الشباب والشابات، مشيدًا بحجم العمل الإنساني المبذول رغم التحديات، ومعبّرًا عن تمنياته بعودة الاستقرار إلى لبنان في أقرب وقت.

The International Youth Hostel Federation Follows Up on Lebanon’s Relief Efforts and Commends the “Bayti Baytak” Initiative

As part of its ongoing follow-up on the relief efforts led by the Lebanese Youth Hostels Federation, the President of the International Youth Hostel Federation, Stephan Korman, held a communication with the Lebanese federation’s leadership. During the exchange, he was briefed on the overall situation in Lebanon, with particular focus on the “Bayti Baytak” initiative, launched in response to the current circumstances.
The call included a detailed overview of the direct intervention mechanisms implemented to support displaced families, including the provision of accommodation in youth hostels and other centers, as well as the delivery of food assistance, healthcare, and social services. It also highlighted psychosocial support programs for children, delivered through sports and arts activities.
The President of the International Federation commended the efforts of the Lebanese federation and its young volunteers, praising the scale of the humanitarian work being carried out despite the challenges, and expressing his hope for a swift return to stability in Lebanon.
