Lebanon Eco Movement الحركة البيئيّة اللبنانيّة Since 1992, many Lebanese NGOs have attempted to protect the environment. Today the LEM gather more then 60 NGOs.

But, as the environmental prevailing problems became more serious and too hard to be dealt with individually, there has been a necessity to join forces under one common motto – Save our cultural and natural heritage. Therefore, some eleven organizations founded the Lebanon Eco Movement
Association-T.E.R.R.E.Liban, Le Liban a petit pas, Operation Big Blue Association, APSAD, DPNA, LHEE, BEA, ARDA,

CSEB, AEA, and Nidaa Al-Ard. The eleven organizations gathered on the 21st April 2012 in Baabda Forest along with other 20 Environmental NGOs and launched the Movement.
