شاركونا بهذا اللقاء بالتعاون مع الهيئة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان المتضمّنة لجنة الوقاية من التعذيب. وهي مبادرة حوارية تهدف إلى تعزيز التواصل والتشاور نحو سياسة وطنية للمخدرات من العقاب والتجريم إلى نهج قائم على الصحة العامة وحقوق الإنسان.

In times of crisis, knowing how to respond can make all the difference.
As stress, displacement, and uncertainty increase, so does the risk of substance use as a way to cope. That’s why early identification and safe referrals are more important than ever.
The Training of Trainers series on “Substance Use Safe Identification and Referrals” for frontline professionals responding to the current emergency is part of a project implemented by Skoun in partnership with GIZ and commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The trainings equipped participants with practical knowledge and skills to identify people at risk, respond safely, and connect them to specialized services when they need them most.

عندما تواجه النساء الوصمة والتمييز بسبب استخدام المواد، تصبح الحواجز أمام الرعاية والدعم أكبر. لكن الحقوق لا يجب أن تكون مشروطة، ولا أن تتأثر بالأحكام المسبقة.
في يوم “ندعم ولا نعاقب”، نذكّر بأهمية بناء استجابات قائمة على الصحة العامة، حقوق الإنسان، والعدالة الاجتماعية، استجابات تضع الأشخاص واحتياجاتهم في صلب الحلول.

When women face stigma and discrimination because of substance use, access to care and support becomes even more difficult. Rights should never be conditional, nor determined by prejudice.
On Support Don’t Punish Day, we highlight the importance of responses rooted in public health, human rights, and social justice, responses that put people and their needs at the center.
