Skoun, the Lebanese Addictions Center, is launching an open call for applications for a series of Training of Trainers on Substance Use Safe Identification and Referrals.

Training Locations and Dates
- Tripoli on 11–12 June 2026
- Beirut on 22–23 June 2026
- Zahlé / Chtoura on 29 - 30 June 2026

Training Details
- Duration: Each 😭 is 2 full days (6 hours per day, including coffee break and lunch)
- Format: In-person
- Venue: To be confirmed and shared with selected participants
- Number of participants: 15 participants per 😭
- Certification: A certificate of attendance will be provided to participants who attend both full days

Deadline to Apply: 20 May 2026

Kindly note that transportation costs will not be covered.

Selected applicants will be notified by 25 May 2026 and will receive the detailed agenda and confirmed venue.

This initiative is part of a project implemented in partnership with GIZ and is commissioned by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Because dignity, safety, and rights should never depend on where you live.

في أنحاء العالم، تتحمّل النساء عبء الأزمات بينما يواصلن القيادة والرعاية والمقاومة وإعادة البناء.

As part of our ongoing awareness efforts in Mount Lebanon with ABAAD, sessions strengthened service providers’ capacities, promoted survivor-centered approaches, and improved access to justice and specialized services. Workers were also trained on the IEC kits, including HIV self-tests, to guide and support women affected by GBV in their use.

في إطار جهودنا المستمرة في جبل لبنان بالشراكة مع ABAAD، عززت الجلسات قدرات مقدمي الخدمات، وركّزت على النهج المرتكز على الناجين/ات، وتحسين الوصول إلى العدالة والخدمات المتخصصة. كما تم تدريب العاملين على حقائب التوعية (IEC kits) التي تتضمن فحوصات HIV الذاتية، لتمكينهم من دعم وشرح استخدامها للنساء المتأثرات بالعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي
