Dear Philippe, dear Gaby,
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan, all the Rotarian friends who attended, our friends from the Rotary Club of Beirut Cedars, and the members of other clubs who joined us today, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for this truly exceptional day.
Dear Philippe, your warm welcome, kindness, availability, and wonderful smile touched each and every one of us. You opened far more than the doors of your home; you opened the doors to a world of passion, memory, beauty, and love for Lebanon. Your collection is remarkable, but even more remarkable is the vision behind it. Through your commitment, you preserve a precious part of our heritage, transmit a collective memory, and remind us all of the importance of our roots, our identity, and our history. You are an inspiring example of what love for Lebanon can achieve when it is carried with such conviction, generosity, and elegance.
Dear Gaby, your guided tour was nothing short of extraordinary. Your vast knowledge, mastery of the subject, refined analysis, and exceptional curatorial vision captivated everyone from beginning to end. Yet what impressed us most was your rare gift for storytelling, combining intelligence, humor, and lightness with perfect balance. Every anecdote found its place naturally, every explanation sparked curiosity, and every detail made us want to learn more. You possess the remarkable ability to make knowledge come alive, making it engaging, accessible, and deeply enjoyable. The two and a half hours passed without anyone noticing the time. The feedback I received afterward was unanimously enthusiastic and full of admiration.
We also greatly appreciated the delicious brunch, prepared with such care, as well as the continuation of the visit in such an enchanting setting, where every detail seemed to tell a story. The atmosphere, the beauty of the surroundings, the generosity of your hospitality, and the quality of the conversations created a truly special moment that all of us will cherish for a long time.
Today, we left feeling enriched, inspired, and deeply moved. We discovered an exceptional collection, but above all, we met exceptional people. You offered us far more than a visit; you gave us a human, cultural, and emotional experience of the highest quality.
Please accept our gratitude, admiration, and deepest appreciation for everything you do in support of art, culture, memory, and the identity of Lebanon.
