Founded by Dr. Nassib Fawaz, the current Chairman and President, the Lebanese International Business Council (LIBC) promotes the economic and financial development of Lebanon and binds the Lebanese around the globe. The Lebanese International Business Council (LIBC) was established by Dr. Nassib Fawaz in 1999 under the decree No. 4 dated 4/12/1999 issued by the Ministry of Interior. It was created

in response to an ever growing need for the Lebanese diaspora to work together and become a major economic and intellectual force that could play a great financial and political role in the global marketplace. The council invites Lebanese researchers, journalists, professionals, and other prominent individuals worldwide to be part of its global network, and it encourages and believes in a diverse membership that represents a variety of backgrounds, which will transcend the boundaries of various nationalities, divisive politics, and sectarianism.

بيان صادر عن المجلس الإغترابي اللبناني للأعمال.

بمبادرة إنسانية من المجلس الإغترابي اللبناني للأعمال برئاسة الدكتور نسيب فواز، أنطلقت حملة التبرعات وتوزيع المساعدات على أهالينا النازحين من قراهم وبلداتهم، وذلك إيماناً من المجلس بأهمية التضامن بين لبنان المقيم ولبنان المغترب.
وقد بادر فريق عمل المجلس بتوزيع المساعدات على عدد من مراكز الإيواء في بيروت وجبل لبنان وعين داره والمتن الساحلي.
وتعهد أعضاء المجلس، المقيمين والمغتربين، بإستمرارية الحملة الإنسانية التضامنية، مؤكدين أهمية مناصرة أهالينا في كلّ أرجاء الوطن، ومتمنين عودة الآمان والسلام الى ربوع وطننا الحبيب لبنان.
