In 1997, as Lebanon was emerging from the stems of the devastating 18-years civil war, Lebanese Dr. Fouad Makhzoumi was convicted that the community needs empowering resources to rebuild and jump start its economy and educational systems. With the first motto that says LEBANESE TOGETHER AGAIN, he initiated the road to where we stand now in helping thousands of citizens to voice their concerns and practice their aspirations.

انطلاقًا من حرص مركز مخزومي للرعاية الصحية الأولية على تعزيز الوعي الصحي والوقاية من الأمراض، وبصفته عضوًا في شبكة الرعاية الصحية الأولية التابعة لوزارة الصحة العامة، نظّم المركز حملة فحوصات طبية مجانية شملت فحص الدهون في الدم (Lipid Profile) وتخطيط القلب (ECG)، بهدف تعزيز الكشف المبكر والاهتمام بصحة القلب.

As part of its commitment to promoting health awareness and disease prevention, Makhzoumi Primary Health Care Center, a member of the Ministry of Public Health’s Primary Health Care Network, organized a free medical screening campaign that included lipid profile testing and electrocardiography (ECG), aiming to promote early detection and support better heart health.

في شهر التوعية بسرطان الثدي، يقدّم مركز مخزومي للرعاية الصحية الأولية، عضو شبكة الرعاية الصحية الأولية التابعة لوزارة الصحة العامة، حملة خاصة للكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي من خلال التصوير الشعاعي للثدي (Mammography)، للسيدات فوق سن الأربعين.

الكاكي -الخرما: فوانيس الخريف الطبيعية
تعود أصول شجرة الكاكي (الخرما ) إلى الصين، حيث زُرعت منذ أكثر من 2000 عام. وهي شجرة مثمرة محبّة للشمس، تتميّز بثمارها اللذيذة وجمالها الأخّاذ. في الخريف، تتحوّل أوراقها إلى اللون الذهبي قبل أن تتساقط، كاشفةً عن ثمار برتقالية مائلة إلى الحمرة تتدلّى على أغصانها العارية كالفوانيس الصغيرة، فتزيّن الحديقة بألوانها المشرقة حتى فصل الشتاء.
تتميّز ثمار الكاكي بمذاقها الحلو الشبيه بالعسل، ويمكن تناولها طازجة أو مجفّفة أو مطبوخة. وهي غنيّة بالألياف الغذائية والفيتامينات A وC ومضادات الأكسدة التي تدعم صحّة النظر والهضم والمناعة والقلب

Kaki Persimmon: Nature’s Autumn Lanterns
Native to China and cultivated for over 2,000 years, persimmon (kaki) is a beautiful, sun-loving fruit tree cherished for both its delicious fruit and ornamental charm. In autumn, its leaves turn golden before falling, revealing glowing orange-red fruits that hang like little lanterns on bare branches, brightening the garden well into winter.
Sweet and honey-flavored, persimmons can be enjoyed fresh, dried, or cooked. They are rich in dietary fiber, vitamins A and C, and antioxidants that support healthy vision, digestion, immunity, and heart health. A true autumn treasure, the kaki tree combines nutritional goodness, delicious flavor, and breathtaking natural beauty.

تُعد الخدمات الاجتماعية ركيزة أساسية لاستقرار المجتمع، إذ تدعم الفئات الأكثر ضعفًا، وتمكّن الأفراد من تجاوز التحديات، وتساهم في بناء مجتمع أكثر شمولًا وعدالة.
في عام 2025، قدّمت خدمات المساعدات الاجتماعية 12,517 خدمة — وذلك استنادًا إلى تقرير نهاية العام الماضي.
Social services are a fundamental pillar of community stability, as they support the most vulnerable groups, empower individuals to overcome challenges, and contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
In 2025, the Social Aid Services delivered 12,517 services — based on last year’s end-of-year report.

بصفتها عضوًا مؤسسًا في ملتقى المؤسسات العربية الداعمة (AFF)، شاركت مؤسسة مخزومي (MF) في قمة الأثر العربي، التي عُقدت يومي 5 و6 أكتوبر في عمّان، الأردن. جمعت القمة على مدى يومين نخبة من قادة العمل الخيري وشركائه، لمناقشة تطوّر القطاع واستكشاف الفرص المستقبلية وتعزيز التعاون. وقد استضاف فندق لاندمارك فعاليات اليوم الأول، فيما انتقلت فعاليات اليوم الثاني إلى بيت شقير في جبل عمّان، حيث عُقدت جلسات «بيت العمل الخيري» واجتماع أعضاء الملتقى. كما شكّلت القمة مناسبة للاحتفال بالذكرى العشرين لتأسيس الملتقى، احتفاءً بعقدين من التعاون وتحقيق الأثر. وأكدت النقاشات أهمية القيم المشتركة والابتكار العربي في خمسة محاور رئيسية: التوظيف، والمناخ، والتعليم، والتراث، والرفاه، نحو مستقبل أكثر شمولًا واستدامةً.
As a Founding member of the Arab Foundations Forum (AFF), the Makhzoumi Foundation (MF) was pleased to participate in the Arab Impact Summit, held on October 5–6 in Amman, Jordan. The two-day summit brought together philanthropic leaders and partners to reflect on the sector’s evolution, explore future opportunities, and strengthen collaboration. Day One took place at The Landmark Hotel, while Day Two moved to Beit Shocair in Jabal Amman, hosting sessions at the Philanthropy House and the AFF Members’ Meeting. The summit also celebrated AFF’s 20th anniversary, marking two decades of collaboration and impact. Discussions highlighted the importance of shared values and Arab-led innovation across five key themes: employment, climate, education, heritage, and well-being, towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.

أطلق وزير الصحة العامة، الدكتور ركان ناصر الدين، الحملة الوطنية للتوعية والكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي لعام 2026، للتأكيد على أهمية الكشف المبكر وتشجيع النساء على إجراء الصورة الشعاعية للثدي.
وباتت الصورة الشعاعية متوافرة في المستشفيات الحكومية على مدار العام، للسيدات اللبنانيات اللواتي تجاوزن الأربعين من العمر.

Lebanon’s Minister of Public Health, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, launched the 2026 National Breast Cancer Awareness and Early Detection Campaign, highlighting the importance of early detection and encouraging women to undergo mammography screening.
Mammography is now available at public hospitals throughout the year for Lebanese women over the age of 40.
