With the first motto that says LEBANESE TOGETHER AGAIN, he initiated the road to where we stand now in helping thousands of citizens to voice their concerns and practice their aspirations.

ضمن النشاطات الصيفية للأولاد أقام برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي _ بيروت، لقاءً تفاعليًا جمع أطفالًا تتراوح أعمارهم بين 7 و13 عامًا، وتضمّن نشاطًا بيئيًا وتوعويًا هادف جمع بين التعلّم والترفيه.
وخلال اللقاء، تعرّف المشاركون على أسس الزراعة وأدواتها، وتعلّموا كيفية إعداد التربة والعناية بالشتول، قبل أن يشاركوا عمليًا في زراعة نبتة الريحان بإشراف فريق البرنامج. وقد أبدى المشاركون حماسًا كبيرًا خلال النشاط، واستمتعوا باكتساب معلومات جديدة حول أهمية النباتات ودورها في الحفاظ على البيئة.
واختُتم اللقاء بأجواء من الفرح والمرح، حيث استمتع الأولاد بإعداد وتناول الباستا، ما أضفى على النشاط طابعًا مميزًا جمع بين الفائدة والمتعة وشجّعهم على تبنّي سلوكيات صديقة للبيئة في حياتهم اليومية.
As part of its summer program for children, the Environment and Development Program at Makhzoumi Foundation – Beirut hosted an interactive session for children aged 7–13. The activity was designed to raise environmental awareness through a fun and engaging experience that blended education with entertainment.
During the event, the children were introduced to the basics of agriculture and its tools. They learned how to prepare soil and care for seedlings before taking part in the hands-on planting of a basil plant under the supervision of the program team. The participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the activity and enjoyed learning new information about the importance of plants and their role in protecting the environment.
The gathering concluded in a joyful and fun atmosphere, where the children enjoyed preparing and eating pasta, adding a unique touch to the activity that successfully combined education and enjoyment while encouraging them to adopt environmentally friendly practices in their daily lives.

نفّذ برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي ورشة تدريبية حرفية حول أساسيات الخياطة، هدفت إلى تزويد المشاركين بالمعارف والمهارات الأولية في هذا المجال، بما في ذلك التعريف بمبادئ الخياطة الأساسية والتدريب العملي على استخدام ماكينة الخياطة بطريقة صحيحة وآمنة.
وقد لاقت الورشة استحسانًا كبيرًا من المشاركين الذين عبّروا عن حماسهم واهتمامهم بمتابعة التعلّم والتطور في هذا المجال، ولا سيما الانتقال إلى مراحل أكثر تقدّمًا تشمل رسم الباترون وتفصيله وتنفيذ الملابس بأنفسهم، بما يعزز فرصهم في اكتساب مهارات مهنية وحرفية جديدة.
The Environment/Development Program at Makhzoumi Foundation organized a workshop on the fundamentals of sewing, aimed at equipping participants with basic knowledge and practical skills in the field. The workshop included an introduction to essential sewing principles, as well as hands-on training on the proper and safe use of a sewing machine.
The workshop was highly appreciated by the participants, who expressed their enthusiasm and interest in continuing to learn and grow in this field, especially moving on to more advanced stages that include pattern drafting and tailoring, as well as designing and producing clothes by themselves, which enhance their chances of gaining new professional and craft skills.

شارك برنامج البيئة والتنمية في مؤسسة مخزومي في الاجتماع التشاوري الثالث متعدد أصحاب المصلحة حول ترابط المياه والطاقة والغذاء والنظم البيئية (WEFE Nexus) في لبنان – الخطة المتكاملة لإدارة منطقة الدامور، والذي نُظم من قبل الشراكة العالمية للمياه – البحر الأبيض المتوسط (GWP-Med) ضمن إطار برنامج GEF UNEP MedProgramme لتعزيز الأمن البيئي.
جمع الاجتماع مختلف الجهات المعنية لمناقشة أبرز التحديات المرتبطة بالإدارة المستدامة للموارد الطبيعية، بما في ذلك الحد من التلوث، واستدامة القطاع السياحي، والأمن المائي، والزراعة المستدامة، والتخطيط الحضري، وحماية التنوع البيولوجي.
معًا نحو حلول متكاملة من أجل بيئة أكثر استدامة ولبنان أكثر قدرة على الصمود.
The Environment and Development Program at Makhzoumi Foundation proudly participated in the 3rd Multi-Stakeholders Consultation Meeting on the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus in Lebanon – Damour Area Integrated Management Plan, organized by the Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean (GWP-Med) within the framework of the GEF UNEP MedProgramme: Enhancing Environmental Security.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders to address pressing environmental challenges, including pollution abatement, sustainable tourism, water security, sustainable agriculture, urban planning, and biodiversity protection.
Together, we continue working towards integrated solutions for a more sustainable and resilient Lebanon.

نفذت مؤسسة مخزومي أنشطة الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي غير المتخصص (CBPSS)، موفّرةً للأطفال بيئة آمنة وملائمة لهم لتعزيز الرفاه العاطفي، والمرونة، والتفاعل الاجتماعي الإيجابي. ومن خلال اللعب، والتعبير الإبداعي، والأنشطة الترفيهية، والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي الملائم لأعمارهم، شجعت الأنشطة الأطفال على التعبير عن أنفسهم، وتنمية مهاراتهم الاجتماعية، وتطوير أساليب تكيف إيجابية.
Supporting children’s well-being through play, creativity, and connection.
The Makhzoumi Foundation implemented Non-Focused Psychosocial Support (CBPSS) activities, providing children with a safe and child-friendly environment to strengthen their emotional well-being, resilience, and positive social interaction. Through play, creative expression, recreational activities, and age-appropriate psychosocial support, the activities encouraged children to express themselves, build social skills, and develop positive coping strategies.

نفّذ مركز مخزومي للرعاية الصحية الأولية، عضو شبكة الرعاية الصحية الأولية التابعة لوزارة الصحة، جلسات دعم نفسي بإشراف الأخصائية الاجتماعية، وبالتعاون مع هيئة الإغاثة الدولية، بهدف تعزيز الرفاه النفسي للمستفيدين، وتوفير بيئة آمنة و داعمة تتيح لهم التعبير عن مشاعرهم و التعامل مع التحديات النفسية، وتمكين المستفيدين من اكتساب مهارات التكيّف الإيجابية وتعزيز قدرتهم على الصمود و بناء مواردهم النفسية.
