A celebration of heritage, community, and new opportunities in the Chouf.

Farah Social Foundation was proud to take part, as a partner, in the relaunch of Atelier May, initiated by Mrs. Dalia Jumblatt and held at Beib El Chouf in Kfarfakoud, in the presence of ministers, members of parliament, ambassadors, and prominent social and cultural figures.

The day began with a visit to Mukhtara Palace, followed by a gathering at Beib El Chouf. Mrs. Feryal Moghraby, Director of Farah Social Foundation, introduced the Foundation and its work, while Ms. Farah Abi Mosleh, Program Manager at FSF, presented the Beib El Chouf project and its vision.

The relaunch of Atelier May reflects a broader commitment to preserving the cultural heritage and traditional crafts of the Chouf while creating sustainable economic opportunities for women, youth, local artisans, and producers, supporting them in developing their skills and products and remaining active within their communities.

Through this partnership, Farah Social Foundation continues to support initiatives that bring together heritage preservation, community empowerment, and sustainable local development.

شاركت مؤسسة الفرح الاجتماعية، بصفتها شريكاً، في إعادة إطلاق “Atelier May – مشغل الست مي جنبلاط” بمبادرة من السيدة داليا جنبلاط، وذلك في باب الشوف – كفرفاقود، بحضور عدد من الوزراء والنواب والسفراء والشخصيات الاجتماعية والثقافية.

استُهلّ اليوم بزيارة إلى قصر المختارة، تلاها لقاء في باب الشوف، حيث قدّمت السيدة فريال المغربي، مديرة مؤسسة الفرح الاجتماعية، تعريفاً بالمؤسسة وعملها، فيما قدّمت السيدة فرح أبي مصلح، مديرة البرامج في المؤسسة، تعريفاً بمشروع باب الشوف ورؤيته.

وتأتي إعادة إطلاق مشغل الست مي في إطار رؤية أوسع تهدف إلى الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي والحرف التقليدية في الشوف، وخلق فرص اقتصادية مستدامة للنساء والشباب والحرفيين والمنتجين المحليين، بما يدعم تطوير مهاراتهم ومنتجاتهم واستمرارهم في العمل والإنتاج داخل مجتمعاتهم.

ومن خلال هذه الشراكة، تواصل مؤسسة الفرح الاجتماعية دعم المبادرات التي تجمع بين الحفاظ على التراث، وتمكين المجتمعات المحلية، وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة.

Since March, Farah Social Foundation, in partnership with WHH, has been supporting vulnerable communities across Lebanon through the distribution of food parcels, hot meals, hygiene kits, and baby kits.

Together, we continue to provide essential support where it is needed most 🤍

Today, we close the Sanadkoun Project after 10 months of hard work, dedication, and impact.

Over the past months, we have supported vulnerable families with daily meals, stood by pregnant and lactating women, and created job opportunities for women in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners , , , and , and to the French Embassy for making this journey possible.

The project is ending, but its impact will remain in the lives of the people we served and the women we empowered. ❤️

اليوم نصل إلى ختام مشروع سندكن بعد عشرة أشهر من العمل الجاد، والالتزام، والأثر الإيجابي.

خلال الأشهر الماضية، تمكّنا من دعم الأسر الأكثر هشاشة من خلال توفير الوجبات اليومية، والوقوف إلى جانب النساء الحوامل والمرضعات، وخلق فرص عمل للنساء في مجتمعنا.

نتوجه بجزيل الشكر إلى شركائنا جمعية التجارة العادلة في لبنان و La Guilde، ونبع، ونساند، وإلى السفارة الفرنسية على دعمهم ومساهمتهم في إنجاح هذه المبادرة.
