The United Nations Youth Association of Lebanon A Civil Society Organization specialized in advancing, monitoring and consulting on the status of youth policy in Lebanon and the MENA region.

The four colors within UNYA Lebanon’s logo represent those four categories of expertise too, while the youth in the heart of the cedar placed inside the UN laurels refer to the key actors of change and development: the youth. ing about the youth, without the youth” doesn’t come as a coincidence or an esthetic slogan for UNYA Lebanon, but rather a guiding principle, which explains the mechanism of this organization, run entirely by young professionals, all under 30 years old.

Some of the most popular ways that donations can support displaced people and victims of war and unrest:

• Humanitarian aid
Donations to be used to purchase basic necessities of life such as food, water, medicine, clothing and shelter for the victims.

• Medical assistance
Donated funds to be used to purchase medical equipment and to pay for necessary medical care.

• Psychological support
In war and crisis situations, people might experience intense emotional trauma. Donations raised can provide psychological support and counselling to help victims cope with the stress and trauma they have suffered.

• Education and recovery
In case of children who need additional support in the form of education and recovery projects, donations can be used to support victims and help them return to normal life after the crisis situation. This can include training in new skills, supporting educational communications and rebuilding infrastructure.
