The dialogue on strengthening home-based healthcare in Lebanon reached the Beqaa. 🏥

The Health Unit of Lebanon Works, powered by the Lebanese Private Sector Network, in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, held the third regional roundtable in this series, bringing together key stakeholders from across the sector.

Discussions focused on the key priorities for strengthening home-based care in Lebanon, including governance and financing, workforce development, quality standards, and stronger coordination across the sector.

Following the roundtables held in Beirut and Tripoli, the Beqaa session marks another step toward building a more coordinated, accessible, and sustainable home-based healthcare system across Lebanon.

The Network, through Lebanon Works, participated in Experia Expo, fostering connections, collaboration, and new business opportunities.

A key highlight was the launch of Reverse Matchmaking, connecting large companies with SMEs to explore tailored solutions and concrete business opportunities.

The Network also showcased its initiatives and services at its booth, while members contributed across the Expo through their own booths, panels, and sessions.

Strengthening the future of Home-Based Healthcare in Lebanon. 🏥

The Health Unit of Lebanon Works, powered by the Lebanese Private Sector Network, in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), convened key stakeholders in Beirut for the first of three regional roundtables dedicated to shaping the future of home-based healthcare in Lebanon.

Building on the work of the Home-Based Healthcare Hub, the roundtable explored key priorities including governance, financing, workforce development, quality standards, and the roles of different stakeholders in advancing a stronger, more sustainable home-based healthcare sector.

This first regional dialogue marks an important step toward developing a more coordinated and sustainable framework for home-based care across Lebanon.

The Lebanon Works Education Unit, in collaboration with the University of Balamand, hosted the roundtable event, “Bridging Academia and Industry: Future Skills and Digital Transformation”, bringing together representatives from academia, industry, and the private sector to explore the evolving demands of the future workforce.

Through interactive discussions across the Education, Healthcare, Industry, and Economics sectors, participants exchanged insights on the skills required for tomorrow’s jobs, the impact of digital transformation, and the importance of strengthening collaboration between universities and employers to better prepare graduates for an evolving labor market. The event concluded with practical recommendations to help bridge the gap between academia and industry and support Lebanon’s future workforce.

*Shaping the Future of Education Through AI*

The Lebanon Works Education Unit, in collaboration with SmartESA through its Ed’Innov project, proudly launched a new initiative that will engage more than 20 schools across Lebanon to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in education.

The initiative kicked off with a conference bringing together educators, school leaders, institutional representatives, and innovation experts to discuss how AI is reshaping teaching, learning, and educational leadership.

Held in the presence of Dina Harake, Lead of the Lebanon Works Education Unit, the event featured panel discussions with Unit members Paul Tauk, Tarek Bolbol, and Dr. Youssef Bassim, who shared their insights on the opportunities and challenges AI presents for the education sector.

This conference marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to equip schools, educators, and students with the knowledge and tools to embrace AI responsibly through awareness sessions, dialogue, and capacity-building activities.

Together, we are building a more innovative and future-ready education ecosystem for Lebanon.
