Compassion Protestant Society, together with the faithful members of the National Evangelical Church of Tripoli, offered a warm meal to around 100 displaced persons from South Lebanon.

More than a meal distribution, this initiative reflects our desire to foster solidarity, dignity, and human connection during this difficult season for Lebanon. In coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs, we are exploring ways to expand this initiative into a community gathering where congregation members and displaced families can share meals around one table.

As churches and communities cross over barriers, we hope to create spaces where displaced families and host communities can meet as neighbours sharing life together.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all partners and supporters who continue to stand with Lebanon in prayer, compassion, and action.

Compassion Protestant Society recently carried out an intervention at the Lebanese University Shelter of Dibbiyeh, where two of our facilitators are leading psychosocial support sessions tailored to two age groups: under 18 and above 20. In addition, hygiene kits were distributed to 18 families to help meet essential needs.

We extend our sincere thanks to Tearfund for being part of this program and for their valuable support in making this intervention possible.

We remain committed to expanding our reach to serve more shelters and displaced families, bringing care, dignity, and support to those who need it most.

On this holy day of resurrection, we lift our voices in prayer for the end of war and the dawn of peace. As Christ conquered death, may His light conquer hatred, violence, and division.

We pray for all who suffer in conflict zones, for families torn apart, and for nations longing for reconciliation. May the Risen Lord guide leaders toward justice, mercy, and compassion.

Let Easter remind us that hope is stronger than despair, and love is stronger than war.

✝️ “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

We give thanks to God for opening new doors of service. 🙏

After equipping the church in Saida to host displaced families to full capacity, we are now welcoming more families at the church in Minyara.

Hygiene kits, mattresses, blankets, and pillows have been purchased, packed, and dispatched to hundreds of families across the North, South, and the Beqaa. This includes those in collective shelters, residential units, and church premises.

Please keep all those who had to flee their homes in your prayers. We are sparing no effort or resource to spread God’s kingdom of love, mercy, and grace.

This is how we celebrated Mother’s Day in the Compassion Community Center of Mijdlaya—right in the midst of the fear and horror that children in Lebanon face every day. In a land where hardship and uncertainty weigh heavily, we pray that our centers can be a safe place, a refuge where children experience joy, love, and the warmth of family.

Today, we honor mothers—their strength, tenderness, and resilience—and we celebrate the gift of creating moments of peace for children, even against the backdrop of Lebanon’s hard reality.

💜 Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at CPS. May we continue to help nurture hope, dignity, and safety for every child and every mother.

While many feel like all hope is lost, we remain faithful to our call: following the example of Jesus in all we do.

From day one of the renewed escalations, we equipped and enabled the National Evangelical Church in Saida to host the most vulnerable of the displaced families from border villages. Today, 11 people are sheltered safely within church premises, and more are arriving.

Our vision is to replicate and expand this initiative in other areas and churches, creating safe and dignified havens for those in need.

We ask for your prayers and support as we continue to expand these efforts. Soon, we will launch more projects in the field—stay connected, keep us in your prayers, and join us in bringing hope where it is most needed.

✨ Today, and with Friends of Syria Lebanon Partnership Network (SLPN), we visited the Compassion Community Centers in Minyara and Mijdlaya. We were pleased to meet Rev. Roula Sleiman, who warmly welcomed us and guided us through the historic National Evangelical School of Tripoli.

🙏 We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners at the Friends of Syria Lebanon Partnership Network (SLPN) for your generous and continuous support, and for standing with us in these uncertain times. Your presence brings strength and encouragement to our communities.

We were delighted to host at the Compassion Protestant Society a delegation from the United States, the Friends of Syria Lebanon Partnership Network (SLPN), PC(USA). It was a wonderful time of fellowship, during which we shared updates from our ministries and services. Thanks to their generous support, we have been able to extend our outreach to more children and people in need.

✨ At Miniara Community Center, we joyfully marked St. Barbara’s Day with the laughter of children filling the halls. Dressed in colorful costumes and with faces painted in playful designs, they brought the spirit of the feast to life. It was a day of tradition, creativity, and community — reminding us how beautiful it is when faith and joy come together. 🌿🎨👧🧒
