ABAAD is a Lebanese organization dedicated to advance gender equality agenda and protecting women and girls from all forms of violence through advocacy, specialized support services, and community-based prevention actions.

This contribution is part of a joint activity and the funds will go toward supporting the distribution of Protection Women Kits for displaced women and families in need 🌸✊🏻

"هذا التوسيع في العدسة يظهر أيضاً في كلام مؤسِسة ومديرة مركز أبعاد، غيدا عناني. فهي ترى أنّ النقاش مهم جداً، لكنها في حديثها إلى رصيف22، تحذّر من مقاربته فقط من زاوية أداء البرلمانيات، "لأنّ ذلك لا يكون منصفاً إذا لم ننظر إلى الصورة الأشمل: المنظومة التشريعية ككل، ومدى فعالية مؤسسات الدولة المختلفة في الاستجابة لاحتياجات المواطنين والمواطنات في سياقات الأزمات".

برلمانيات يطرحن، محاميات وحقوقيات يصغن، نقابيات يوثّقن، صحافيات يحقّقن، وجمعيات نسوية تذكّر بأنّ الحرب لا تصيب الجميع بالطريقة نفسها. هذا الحضور لا يصنع وحده قانون الحرب، لكنه يمنع النقاش من أن يبقى محصوراً في لغة القوة والبيانات
عندما نتحدث عن الحماية والعدالة والمحاسبة، كما تقول عناني، فنحن نتحدث عن "منظومة متكاملة تتقاطع فيها الأطر التشريعية مع الخدمات، القضاء، الضابطة العدلية، وآليات الاستجابة الرسمية. لذلك، لا يكفي تقييم أفراد داخل البرلمان، بل يجب النظر إلى الطريقة التي تعمل بها الدولة، أو تتعطل بها، في تحويل الحماية إلى حقّ فعلي".

وتشير عناني إلى تعاون مستمرّ وفعلي بين "أبعاد" والمؤسسة التشريعية، ومع عدد من البرلمانيين والبرلمانيات والجهات الفاعلة، لدفع مسارات إصلاحية تتعلق بتطوير القوانين وتحسين النصوص القانونية التمييزية في لبنان. وقد ساهم هذا التعاون، بحسبها، في فتح نقاشات جدّية حول قضايا الحماية، العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي، والوصول إلى العدالة."

مع اختتام مشروع مكاني، تسلّمت 105 سيدة من سوق الغرب وجبيل المعدات والمواد التي يحتجنها لتطوير مشاريعهن الصغيرة وتعزيز مصادر دخلهن، بعد استكمالهن سلسلة من التدريبات المتخصصة في بناء المهارات وإعداد خطط الأعمال.

وشمل الدعم المقدم معدات ومواد في مجالات الخياطة، وتصنيع الأغذية، والضيافة، والتسويق الرقمي، وغيرها، بهدف مساعدة المشاركات على إطلاق مشاريعهن أو توسيعها وتحويل أفكارهن إلى فرص اقتصادية مستدامة.

ومنذ انطلاق مشروع مكاني، عمل على تمكين النساء اقتصاديًا وتعزيز قدراتهن، بما يساهم في دعم أسرهن وخلق أثر إيجابي داخل مجتمعاتهن.

With the ending of the MAKANI project, 105 women from Souq El Ghareb and Jbeil received equipment and materials to support their small businesses and income-generating activities after completing a journey of trainings, skills development, and business planning. The distributed support included materials for sewing, food processing, hospitality, digital marketing, and other small businesses. A final step toward helping participants transform their ideas into sustainable opportunities, the MAKANI project has been a journey about strengthening resilience, opportunity, and hope for entire families and communities!

The MAKANI project launched a 2-week vocational training in food processing at CIS College in , bringing together 9 participants to strengthen their technical skills and support them in developing income-generating opportunities. The training focused on practical, hands-on learning in food processing techniques, quality standards, and small business applications, where participants practiced making jam, aiming to equip them with the tools needed to pursue income-generation opportunities.

ضمن مشروع مكاني، شاركت 9 سيدات، في تدريب مهني امتدّ على مدى أسبوعين في مجال تصنيع الأغذية في كلية CIS في #عاليه، بهدف تعزيز مهاراتهن التقنية ودعمهن في تطوير فرص دخل.

وركّز التدريب على الجانب العملي والتطبيقي في تقنيات تصنيع الأغذية، ومعايير الجودة، وتطبيقات المشاريع الصغيرة، حيث تدرّبت المشاركات على صناعة المربّى، بما يساهم في تزويدهن بالمهارات والأدوات اللازمة لخلق فرص دخل مستدامة.

ضمن مشروع مكاني، شاركت 35 امرأة في تدريب امتدّ على مدى يومين في منطقة جبيل، بعد اختيار مبادراتهن بهدف دعمهن في تطوير مهارات المناصرة وتصميم تحركات أكثر تأثيرًا واستراتيجية.

ومن خلال جلسات تفاعلية وأدوات عملية، تعرّفت المشاركات على أساليب ومفاهيم أساسية في المناصرة، بما ساعدهن على تعزيز أصواتهن والعمل على مبادرات تستجيب بشكل أفضل لاحتياجات مجتمعاتهن.

The MAKANI project launched a two-day advocacy training in , bringing together 35 participants whose initiatives were selected to strengthen their advocacy skills and support them in designing more strategic and impactful actions. Through interactive sessions and practical tools, participants explored key advocacy concepts and approaches to help amplify their voices and advance initiatives that respond to the needs of their communities.
