لقد عرفناه إنسانًا ملتزمًا ومحبًا لبلدته، يحمل دائمًا أفكارًا وطموحات ومبادرات تهدف إلى خدمة دير ميماس وأهلها. وخلال عملنا معه، لمسنا إخلاصه وتفانيه وإيمانه بأهمية العمل من أجل تنمية بلدته والحفاظ على هويتها وتراثها.

يحلّ علينا عيد الأضحى المبارك هذا العام، ووطننا يمرّ بأوقات عصيبة وتحديات قاسية تختبر صمودنا جميعاً.

في "جمعية بيتي"، نؤمن أن قوة المجتمعات تكمن في قدرتها على التضامن والوقوف معاً كعائلة واحدة في وجه الأزمات. إن العيد الحقيقي اليوم هو في مساندة بعضنا البعض، وفي العمل المستمر من أجل الحفاظ على أمان مجتمعاتنا وبيوتنا، ليبقى الأمل حياً بمستقبل أفضل وأكثر استقراراً.

بينو-قبولا
🎺 الموسيقى تجمع.. والشباب يقودون التغيير.

في بلدية بينو-قبولا، عكار، آمنت رئيسة البلدية وعضوات المجلس والناشطات المحليات بأهمية استثمار طاقات الشباب كركيزة للتنمية. ومن خلال تدريبات مكثفة على الحوكمة المحلية وتطوير المشاريع، عملت المشاركات على تعزيز مهاراتهنّ القيادية لخدمة مجتمعهنّ.

وتجسيداً لهذا الدور، أطلقت المشاركات مبادرة "جوقة بينو الموسيقية" (Band)، بهدف تفعيل المشاركة الشبابية وتعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي في البلدة. تسعى هذه المبادرة إلى توفير مساحة إبداعية وآمنة للشابات والشباب، وتنمية مواهبهم الفنية كأداة للتعبير وبناء الروابط المجتمعية المتينة مع احتمال خلق فرص عمل لهم في المستقبل.

وبدعم من جمعية بيتي ومنظمة أوند، وبالتعاون مع بلدية بينو-قبولا، تم تزويد الجوقة بالمعدات والتدريب اللازم، لتصدح ألحان الشباب كرمز للأمل والعمل المشترك.

من خلال مشروع "الحوكمة والمشاركة في الحياة العامة"، يتم دعم 10 بلديات في مختلف أنحاء لبنان لتعزيز الحوكمة البلدية وترسيخ مشاركة المرأة في التنمية المحلية والعمل البلدي، بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان والسفارة البريطانية في لبنان.

BEINO-QBOULA
🎺 Music brings us together.. and youth lead the change.
In Beino-Qboula – Akkar, the Mayor and women of the council and community believed in investing in youth potential as a pillar of development. Through intensive training on municipal governance and project development, the participants strengthened their leadership skills to better serve their community.
To put these skills into action, they launched the "Beino Music Band" initiative to activate youth participation and promote social cohesion in the village. This initiative aims to provide a creative and safe space for young women and men, nurturing their artistic talents as a tool for expression, building strong community bonds, and potentially creating future job opportunities for them.
With support from Beity Association and ONDES
, and in cooperation with the Municipality of Beino-Qboula, the band was provided with the necessary equipment and training, allowing the melodies of the youth to echo as a symbol of hope and collective action.
Through the “Governance and Participation in Public Life” project, 10 municipalities across Lebanon are being supported to strengthen municipal governance and enhance women’s participation in local development and municipal work, from UN Women Lebanon and UK in Lebanon .

🏠 مساحاتنا تجمعنا.. لنبني مستقبلاً أفضل.

في بلدة المختارة – الشوف، وضعت رئيسة البلدية وعضوات المجلس البلدي والناشطات المحليات نصب أعينهنّ هدفاً طموحاً: خلق مساحة مستدامة للتعلم والتفاعل. ومن خلال المشاركة في تدريبات متخصصة حول الحوكمة البلدية والمشاركة العامة، تمكنت المشاركات من تحديد احتياجات المجتمع وتطوير حلول مستدامة.

واستناداً إلى هذه الرؤية، تم إطلاق مبادرة لتجهيز "قاعة تدريب" وتحويلها إلى مركز مجتمعي دائم. تم تزويد المركز بكافة التجهيزات التقنية واللوجستية ليكون مساحة آمنة ومجهزة تتيح للنساء والشباب فرصة المشاركة في برامج بناء القدرات، وتبادل الأفكار، وتعزيز الروابط بين أفراد المجتمع المحلي.

وبدعم من جمعية بيتي ومنظمة أوند، وبالتعاون مع بلدية المختارة، أصبح هذا المركز اليوم نبضاً جديداً يخدم التنمية المحلية ويفتح آفاقاً أوسع للمشاركة والابتكار.

من خلال مشروع "الحوكمة والمشاركة في الحياة العامة"، يتم دعم 10 بلديات في مختلف أنحاء لبنان لتعزيز الحوكمة البلدية وترسيخ مشاركة المرأة في التنمية المحلية والعمل البلدي، بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان والسفارة البريطانية في لبنان.

MOUKHTARA
🏠 Our spaces bring us together.. to build a better future.

In Moukhtara – Chouf, the Head of the Municipality, women council members, and local activists set an ambitious goal: creating a sustainable space for learning and interaction. By participating in specialized trainings on municipal governance and public participation, the women were able to identify community needs and develop long-term solutions.

Building on this vision, an initiative was launched to equip a "training hall" and transform it into a permanent community center. The center was provided with all the necessary technical and logistical equipment to serve as a safe and prepared space for women and youth to participate in capacity-building programs, exchange ideas, and strengthen community bonds.

With support from Beity Association and ONDES , and in cooperation with the Municipality of Moukhtara, this center has become a new heartbeat for local development, opening wider horizons for participation and innovation.

Through the “Governance and Participation in Public Life” project, 10 municipalities across Lebanon are being supported to strengthen municipal governance and enhance women’s participation in local development and municipal work, with support from UN Women Lebanon and UK in Lebanon .

📱 صوتك مسموع بخصوصية وأمان.
في بلدية رشعين–زغرتا، أحدثت النساء تغييراً ملموساً في تفاعل المجتمع مع الإدارة المحلية. فمن خلال تدريبات مكثفة على الحوكمة والتحول الرقمي، أطلقت عضوات المجلس البلدي بالتعاون مع المجتمع المحلي مبادرة "منصة الشكاوى والمقترحات الرقمية".

تسمح هذه المبادرة، التي تقودها 6 نساء في المجلس البلدي، للمواطنين وخاصة النساء بتقديم الشكاوى والاقتراحات إلكترونياً دون حاجة للحضور الشخصي، مما يضمن أعلى مستويات الخصوصية والسرية. تهدف المنصة لتذليل عقبات القيود الزمنية أو المخاوف من فقدان الخصوصية، فاتحةً قناة تواصل مباشرة وآمنة تعزز المشاركة العامة.

وبدعم من جمعية بيتي ومنظمة أوند، وبالتعاون مع بلدية رشعين، أصبح التحول الرقمي وسيلة لتعزيز الشفافية وتفعيل دور المرأة الكفوء في تحسين الخدمات المحلية.

من خلال مشروع "الحوكمة والمشاركة في الحياة العامة"، يتم دعم 10 بلديات في لبنان لتعزيز الحوكمة وترسيخ مشاركة المرأة في التنمية المحلية والعمل البلدي، بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان والسفارة البريطانية.

In Rachiine–Zgharta, women brought a tangible change in how the community interacts with local administration. Through intensive training on governance and digital transformation, women municipal members, with the local community, launched the "Digital Complaints and Suggestions Platform."

This initiative, spearheaded by 6 women council members, allows citizens, especially women, to submit complaints electronically without appearing in person, ensuring top privacy. The platform aims to overcome time constraints or privacy concerns, opening a safe, direct channel that enhances public participation.

With support from Beity Association, ONDES , and the Municipality of Rachiine, digital transformation has become a tool for transparency and activating women's roles in local services.

Through the "Governance and Participation in Public Life" project, 10 Lebanese municipalities are supported to strengthen governance and enhance women’s participation in local work, supported by UN Women Lebanon and UK in Lebanon .

🧺 إحياء التراث.. طريق نحو الاستقلالية.

في بلدة عين عطا – راشيا، خطت نساء المجلس البلدي والمجتمع المحلي خطوات ثابتة نحو تعزيز مشاركتهنّ في الشأن العام، من خلال تدريبات مكثفة شملت القوانين البلدية، المناقصات العمومية، وكتابة مقترحات المشاريع، وصولاً إلى إدارة الأزمات.

كما أطلقت المشاركات مبادرة نسائية مميزة تهدف إلى إحياء "حرفة صناعة القش" التقليدية. هذه المبادرة لا تهدف فقط للحفاظ على التراث الثقافي للبلدة، بل تسعى أيضاً لخلق فرص عمل ومصدر دخل مستقل للنساء، مما يعزز صمودهنّ الاقتصادي ومكانتهنّ في صنع القرار المحلي.

وبدعم من جمعية بيتي ومنظمة أوند، وبالتعاون مع بلدية عين عطا، تم تنفيذ هذه المبادرة التي جسدت تلاحم المجتمع حول رؤية تقودها المرأة.

🧺 Reviving heritage.. a path to independence.

In Ain Aata – Rashaya, women from the municipality and community took significant steps toward enhancing their participation in public life through intensive training covering municipal laws, public procurement, project proposal writing, and crisis management.

The participants also launched a unique women-led initiative to revive the traditional "straw weaving" craft. This initiative aims not only to preserve the town’s cultural heritage but also to create job opportunities and independent income for women, strengthening their economic resilience and their role in local decision-making.

With support from Beity Association and ONDES , and in cooperation with the Municipality of Ain Aata, this initiative was implemented, showcasing community solidarity around a vision led by women.

Through the “Governance and Participation in Public Life” project, 10 municipalities across Lebanon are being supported to strengthen municipal governance and enhance women’s participation in local development and municipal work, with support from UN Women Lebanon and UK in Lebanon .

حوش سنيد
💡 نُنير الدرب لمجتمعات أكثر أماناً.

في بلدية حوش سنيد - بعلبك-الهرمل، عملت عضوات المجلس البلدي على تعزيز معرفتهنّ بالقوانين البلدية، والمناقصات العمومية، وتطوير المشاريع، وذلك من خلال تدريبات متخصصة ضمن المشروع.

واستناداً إلى هذه المهارات الجديدة، تعاونت العضوات مع أفراد المجتمع المحلي لتحديد الأولويات، وأطلقنَ مبادرة مجتمعية بقيادة نسائية لمعالجة مشكلة ضعف الإنارة في شوارع القرية.

وبدعم من جمعية بيتي ومنظمة أوند، وبالتعاون مع بلدية حوش سنيد، تم تركيب مصابيح شوارع تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية، مما ساهم في تعزيز الأمان وحرية التنقل للنساء وللمجتمع ككل.

من خلال مشروع "الحوكمة والمشاركة في الحياة العامة"، يتم دعم 10 بلديات في مختلف أنحاء لبنان لتعزيز الحوكمة المحلية وتفعيل مشاركة المرأة في التنمية والعمل البلدي، بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان والسفارة البريطانية في لبنان.

HAWSH SNEID
💡 Lighting the way for safer communities.
In Hawsh Sneid – Baalbek-Hermel, women municipal members strengthened their knowledge of municipal laws, public procurement, and project development through trainings under the project.
Building on these new skills, they worked with community members to identify priority issues and launched a women-led community initiative to address poor street lighting in the village.
With support from Beity Association and ONDES , and in cooperation with the Municipality of Hawsh Sneid, solar-powered street lights were installed to help improve safety and mobility for women and the wider community.
Through the “Governance and Participation in Public Life” project, 10 municipalities across Lebanon are being supported to strengthen municipal governance and enhance women’s participation in local development and municipal work, supported by UN Women Lebanon and the UK in Lebanon
