The Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) is a regional center pioneering in the treatment of children with cancer. Our mission is a mission of hope and a healthy future for our dear children, where they are treated free of charge, with no cost at all on their parents. Therefore, CCCL relies purely on donations; with a yearly need of 15 million USD. Inaugurated in April 2002, the CCCL has tre

ated, to date, over 2,800 children with cancer. The treatment usually lasts for 3 years, costing an average ranging between 40,000 and 200,000 dollars a year for each patient. CCCL has a variety of fundraising programs and projects all for the sole purpose of raising funds to treat our dear patients. Happy Nurses Day from CCCL to every nurse who makes this place feel a little lighter, calmer, and kinder 🩷
Behind every “I’m okay” in our hallways…
there’s probably a nurse who made it possible.
A joke before treatment.
A hand squeeze during bad news.
A calm voice at 3 AM.
An extra minute they didn’t have.

Kaleen was already fighting leukemia…before the war found her too.
A night that shook her home.
Glass shattering. Her mother injured. Fear filling every corner.
And still… she didn’t cry.
She walked closer and asked: “Mama… are you in pain?”
At seven, she carries more than illness.
