Karma - كارما Karma is a Lebanese NGO that support the treatment of children with cancer and thalassemia in lebanon

Karma, the association for supporting diseased children and adolescents in Lebanon, was founded in May 2015. Karma focuses mainly on secondary and tertiary health care among the deprived segment of the Lebanese and the refugee pediatric population with cancer or thalassemia. Karma's work include the following: 1) to refer the patient to specialized doctors/hospitals for treatment; 2) to refer the

patient to other national and international organizations for financial help; 3) to accompany the patient and his/her family in the period of treatment; 4) to partly or fully cover the patient's treatment financially.

Many of you might have wondered what we were up to these last months. To be honest, we passed through hard times. We are at war again, or the war never really ended in the first place. The current situation affects us all, the Karma team, our medical team in the hospital and mostly our little patients and their families.
As Karma, we are trying to do as much as we can, supporting little by little, step by step to ensure that children with thalassemia in Lebanon receive their life-saving treatment. Help us widen our support, share our work and stay tuned for more updates. Video done by our dearest
