Ana Aqra Association is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization founded in 1994 The secret to our success is that we always put the child first!

Ana Aqra Association targets the educational, psychosocial and cultural needs of underprivileged children, ages 4 to 14 attending Lebanese elementary public schools, and provides support to their parents, teachers, and the school administration. The main focus of the association is to encourage reading and advance literacy. Due to the acute crisis facing the Lebanese school system, we are currentl

As Ana Kamen 2 wraps up its retention support activities in public schools, learners came together for joyful closing celebrations filled with art, games, PSS activities, movie screenings, cake cutting, and many smiles. 😁🎂🎉
Over two incredible years, the project supported children’s learning, wellbeing, and school retention across 8 public schools and 3 community centers, with the ECE program in community centers concluding soon. ✨🤩

Even in times of uncertainty, learning continues 💛

Yazan and Basmala are actively engaging and expressing their creativity through online art sessions, showing joy, focus, and resilience from home.
As part of the “Ana Kamen 2” project at the Mashha ECE Center in Akkar, activities have shifted to remote learning to ensure children’s continued access to safe, stimulating education despite the current situation.

This project is funded by Italy, and implemented by Ana Aqra in partnership with WeWorld.
