The Maak Association is a Lebanese non-profit NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) - Declaration # 704; Ministry of Internal Affairs, 27/01/2009 - which aims to economically and socially reintegrate the marginalized families and individuals. to such individuals or families, in order to give them self-sufficiency and allow them to live with dignity. Maak provides assistance to the impoverished people in Lebanon, notably those living in villages lacking essential services. The association helps them improve their living standard by granting them small loans. These loans allow them to become small “entrepreneurs” and real “producers”, thereby pulling them out of their poverty's circle. With this help, these individuals regain self-trust and slowly reintegrate the social and economic system.

Equipment can be the difference between staying small and taking the next step.
At Maak, we believe support should help entrepreneurs build something sustainable. That’s why, when the need is there, our support can go beyond providing funds and help entrepreneurs access the tools and equipment they need to work, grow, and serve more customers.
A new machine. Better tools. Professional equipment.
Each one can become part of a bigger opportunity.
Support an entrepreneur. Invest in their ability to grow.

Behind every small business is a story of passion, creativity, and determination. 💛

Meet Claude, an entrepreneur from Kesserwan who started a small kiosk with her sister, turning their creativity into handmade products and a growing business.

With Maak’s support, Claude was able to move from a small kiosk to a proper shop and access the equipment needed to continue developing her work.

Today, her business continues to grow, creating opportunities and supporting two families.
