نظّم الصندوق الإنساني للبنان (LHF) زيارة ميدانية إلى صور وصيدا للاطلاع على أثر المشاريع التي يمولها الصندوق الإنساني للبنان على أرض الواقع، وعلى الدعم الحيوي المقدَّم إلى المجتمعات النازحة والمتضررة من النزاع.
حضر الزيارة كلٌّ من سعادة السيدة هيلده هارالدستاد، سفيرة النرويج في لبنان؛ وسعادة السيد ميغيل دي لوكاس، سفير إسبانيا في لبنان؛ وسعادة السيد توماس بروندين، سفير السويد في لبنان؛ وممثل عن سفارة بلجيكا في لبنان، برفقة وفود من سفاراتهم.
وخلال الزيارة، التقينا بالسلطات المحلية ووحدة إدارة مخاطر الكوارث في لبنان، وشهدنا عن كثب كيف يساهم دعم الصندوق الإنساني للبنان (LHF) في مساعدة الناس على مواجهة التحديات المستمرة. ومن خلال Imam Sadr Foundation، تتلقى الأسر النازحة والمتضررة من النزاع مساعدات غذائية أساسية.
كما زرنا مستشفى جبل عامل، الذي يواصل تقديم خدمات الرعاية الصحية الأساسية رغم الأضرار الكبيرة التي لحقت بمرافقه وكوادره. وبفضل دعم الصندوق الإنساني للبنان وعمل منظمة العمل ضد الجوع (ACF)، لا تزال خدمات الرعاية الصحية الثانوية الحيوية متاحة للمجتمعات المتضررة.
وخلال الرحلة، شهد الوفد أيضاً الأضرار الواسعة التي لحقت بالبنية التحتية جراء النزاع، في تذكير صارخ بالاحتياجات الإنسانية المستمرة في المناطق المتضررة.
يساعد الصندوق الإنساني للبنان على ضمان حصول المجتمعات النازحة والمتضررة من النزاع على الرعاية والحماية والمساعدة الأساسية عندما تكون في أمسّ الحاجة إليها. ويصبح هذا الدعم ممكناً بفضل سخاء الجهات المانحة للصندوق.
The Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) organized a field visit to Tyre and Saida to showcase the impact of LHF-funded projects on the ground and the vital support being provided to displaced and conflict-affected communities.
The visit was attended by H.E. Ms. Hilde Haraldstad, Ambassador of Norway to Lebanon; H.E. Mr. Miguel de Lucas, Ambassador of Spain to Lebanon; H.E. Mr. Tomas Brundin, Ambassador of Sweden to Lebanon; and a representative of the Embassy of Belgium in Lebanon, accompanied by delegations from their respective embassies.
During the visit, we met with local authorities and the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Unit and witnessed firsthand how support from the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) is helping people cope with ongoing challenges. Through , displaced and conflict-affected families are receiving critical food assistance.
We also visited Jabal Amel Hospital, which continues to provide essential healthcare services despite significant damage to its facilities and workforce. With support from the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund and the work of Action Against Hunger (ACF), vital secondary healthcare services remain accessible to affected communities.
During the journey, the delegation also witnessed the extensive damage to infrastructure caused by the conflict, a stark reminder of the continuing humanitarian needs across affected areas.
The helps ensure that displaced and conflict-affected communities can access essential care, protection and assistance when they need it most. This support is made possible through the generosity of its donors.
