In the midst of difficult times, hope is expressed through action.

Today, through our Relief & Reconcile Program, we distributed 250 relief boxes to families living in temporary shelters at BIEL in Beirut.

While children enjoyed a puppet show filled with laughter and hope, teens participated in a Communication Skills session, creating a space for encouragement, connection, and resilience.

This initiative was made possible in collaboration with the Beirut Municipality Disaster Management Unit, New Heights, and the Beirut Guard Regiment.

A heartfelt thank you to all our donors whose generosity made this outreach possible. Your support continues to bring relief, dignity, and hope to families facing difficult circumstances.

May God grant peace to our land, comfort to those affected, and a swift end to this crisis. ✨

During our Annual Friends of the Bible Society Dinner, we had the privilege of honoring His Excellency Archbishop Paolo Borgia, Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon and representative of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV in Lebanon.

We are deeply grateful for his presence, encouragement, and faithful service to the Church. His dedication to fostering unity, dialogue, and hope continues to inspire communities across Lebanon.

May was a month of partnership, communication, and sharing God’s Word with new generations at Bible Society Lebanon 📖

Ahead of the Patmos Global Summit, Dr. Mike Bassous visited the Indonesian Bible Society, strengthening relationships with global partners and reaffirming our shared mission of making Scripture accessible around the world 🌍

We also participated in the 60th World Day of Social Communications, where the Bible was highlighted as the first and most enduring channel for proclaiming God’s Word, reminding us of the privilege and responsibility of communicating truth across generations 🙏

After months of Bible quizzes involving more than 9,300 students from 60 schools, nine finalists gathered for a special day of celebration, fellowship, and honoring their commitment to Scripture alongside their families and teachers 🏆

Our team continued bringing the Bible to life through engaging puppet shows, helping students at Saint Joseph School Capucins Batroun discover God’s Word in a joyful and memorable way 🎭

We were also excited to expand our range of faith-inspired products, including our new collection of Christian caps designed to carry a message of faith into everyday life 🧢

Every moment this month reminded us that God’s Word continues to connect inspire and transform lives across generations.

After months of weekly online Bible quizzes involving more than 9,300 students from 60 schools, nine finalists came together for a special day centered around God’s Word.

Representing three different levels of Bible knowledge, the finalists, alongside their families and Bible/Catechism teachers, gathered at the General Secretariat of Catholic Schools in Lebanon for the final competition, followed by lunch and a private audience with Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch.

A joyful day of learning, celebration, fellowship, and honoring the students and teachers dedicated to growing in Scripture. ✨

Last weekend, the Bible Society Lebanon team gathered at Deir Saydit El Nour in Feytroun for a spiritual retreat centered around one message: “Do not be afraid.”

Through inspiring talks from speakers representing different Christian denominations, moments of prayer and reflection, and a hike shared together in nature, it was a meaningful time of fellowship, renewal, and faith.

A beautiful reminder that even in uncertain times, we walk forward together with courage and hope. ✨

Bible Society Lebanon’s General Secretary / CEO, Dr. Mike Bassous, joined the 30th anniversary celebrations of SAT-7 alongside members of its International Council, prominent Church leaders, and the Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morkos.

The gathering included meaningful conversations, short interviews, exchanges of congratulations, and a time of fellowship over brunch.

We are grateful for this longstanding partnership and wish SAT-7 continued impact in its mission and media ministry. ✨
