Ahead of the Patmos Global Summit in Jakarta, Bible Society Lebanon’s General Secretary / CEO, Dr. Mike Bassous, visited the Indonesian Bible Society and met with its General Secretary, Dr. Sigit Triyono.

The summit will also gather partners from around the world, including Fr. Jan Stefanow, General Secretary of the Catholic Biblical Federation, and our Polish colleague, Iga Zalisz.

A meaningful time of fellowship, partnership, and shared vision as we continue serving together worldwide.

Throwback to September 2025 … the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Bible Society Lebanon’s formal registration.

During a gathering in Jakarta, Rev. Samuel Sanusi, General Secretary of the Bible Society of Nigeria, presented a beautiful plaque to our CEO / General Secretary, Dr. Mike Bassous, following his participation in the celebrations.

A meaningful moment of fellowship, partnership, and shared mission across Bible Societies worldwide. ✨

April was a month of faith in action partnership and sharing hope at Bible Society Lebanon 📖✨

We distributed biblical books to more than 170 students studying theology, continuing to show up in every season with purpose and conviction, trusting that what we carry is greater than what we face 🤍

We also signed a meaningful partnership with Les Scouts du Liban, opening the door to reach thousands of young people and build stronger communities rooted in biblical values 🤝

Over two days we led a Trauma Healing training for teachers, equipping them to better support teens and extend healing where it is most needed, because when teachers are empowered the impact goes further 🕊️

We welcomed Safe Haven and around 45 children for a joyful day filled with a biblical puppet show and a Bible World tour, creating moments of laughter connection and discovery around God’s Word 🎭📘

As First Communion approaches we are ready to support this special moment with our New Testament and meaningful gifts that help keep the Word close to every heart ✨

Every moment this month reminded us that hope grows when we continue to show up and serve

Today, we signed a partnership with Les Scouts du Liban, numbering around 15,000 members.

A step toward working together to reach more young people, build stronger communities, and share biblical values that truly matter.

Because when we join hands, the impact goes further. ✨

Today we welcomed Safe Haven, an NGO supporting refugee children, with around 45 children joining us for a special day filled with joy.

From a biblical puppet show to a Bible World tour, it was a time of discovery, laughter, and connection around God’s Word.

Moments like these remind us… hope can be shared in the simplest ways. ✨

Despite it all… we continue.

Over the past two days, we led a Trauma Healing training for teachers, equipping them to better support and walk alongside teens through difficult times.

Because when teachers are empowered, healing reaches even further.

In the middle of everything happening, we keep showing up.
Because hope cannot wait.

March was a month of connection resilience and living faith in action at Bible Society Lebanon 📖✨

Dr Mike Bassous visited Cairo where he met with church leaders from different denominations to explore collaboration around the iLead program and Christian education, strengthening partnerships that serve the next generation 🤝

We also took part in the European Publishing Group meeting alongside Bible Societies and partners from around the world, sharing insights and working together to make Scripture more accessible across nations 🌍📘

In the midst of challenging times we continued to stand by internally displaced children, creating moments of joy through activities and puppet shows while sharing with them a powerful truth God’s Word brings hope even in the hardest moments 🤍

And in one full day of service, from trauma healing training to children’s programs leadership meetings and ending with our Faith During Crisis session, choosing to keep going and not grow tired of doing good ✨

Every step this month reminded us that even in difficult times the Word continues to move and transform lives
