Transparency International Lebanon participated in the 3rd Regional Anti-Corruption Workshop in Berlin, held under the Transparency Now project in partnership with UNICRI.
Together with Transparency International chapters and civil society organizations from across the MENA region and alongside our national partners ALDIC, TIPS and SEEDS, we discussed the findings and recommendations of two key regional reports:
Closing the Gaps, which examines the legal, institutional and operational barriers to detecting, investigating and recovering corruption-related assets, and Into the Light, which benchmarks beneficial ownership transparency frameworks across eight MENA countries.
The discussions focused on translating evidence into action by strengthening beneficial ownership transparency, addressing illicit financial flows and advancing asset recovery through regional cooperation, knowledge exchange and institutional reform.

شاركت جمعية الشفافية الدولية لبنان -لا فساد في ورشة العمل الإقليمية الثالثة لمكافحة الفساد التي عُقدت في برلين، ضمن مشروع «الشفافية الآن» المنفّذ بالشراكة مع معهد الأمم المتحدة الأقاليمي لبحوث الجريمة والعدالة (UNICRI).
وبمشاركة فروع منظمة الشفافية الدولية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني من مختلف دول منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وإلى جانب شركائنا الوطنيين ALDIC وTIPS وSEEDS، ناقشنا نتائج وتوصيات تقريرين إقليميين أساسيين:
«سدّ الفجوات»، الذي يتناول العوائق القانونية والمؤسساتية والتشغيلية التي تحدّ من كشف الأصول المسروقة المرتبطة بالفساد والتحقيق فيها واستردادها، و«إلى العلن»، الذي يقيس أطر شفافية المستفيد الحقيقي في ثماني دول من منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
ركّزت النقاشات على تحويل الأدلة إلى إجراءات عملية من خلال تعزيز شفافية المستفيد الحقيقي، وتحسين كشف التدفقات المالية الفاسدة والتحقيق فيها، والتصدي للتدفقات المالية غير المشروعة، ودفع جهود استرداد الموجودات عبر التعاون الإقليمي وتبادل المعرفة والإصلاح المؤسسي.
