Arab Forum for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities/DPI Regional Office This is the official page of the Arab Forum for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Regional Office of Disabled People's International.

The Arab Forum for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (AFRPD) is a network of national organizations and associations of Arab persons with disabilities, AFRPD holds a representation status of persons with disabilities in the Arab region. We rely on a number of resources and expertise, to promote the Arab disability movement, on the basis of human rights and the principles of the International

Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). The Forum currently represents the Arab region in the Disabled People’s International (DPI), based on the official authorization issued by DPI relying on the adopted constitutional and statutory terms. The Forum has the following Country Members: Jordan, Tunisia, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, Mauritania and Yemen, where it seeks to further enroll other Arab countries, especially in the Gulf to enable all of the Arab region to be part of this Forum.
