أطلقت الجمعية اللبنانية للدراسات والتدريب حملة تحت شعار "تخايل لو" ضمن مشروع "تفعيل دور الشباب في تعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي"، بهدف تعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي من خلال تسليط الضوء على رسائل التعاون وقبول الآخر والاحترام المتبادل، تعزيز التنوع والوحدة، نشر الرسائل حول مخاطر التنميط والتمييز والكراهية، وتعزيز طرق الحماية.
وقد انطلقت الحملة بتنظيم حفل حضره الشباب المشاركون مع أهاليهم، ومجموعة من الفعاليات الأهلية والمدنية. استهلً الحفل بعرض مسرحية "إلا إذا.." للمسرحي اللبناني جورج خباز والتي تتمحور حول مواضيع التعايش والمواطنة وقبول الآخر.
ولأنّ التثقيف يعد واحدًا من الأساليب في التوعية قدّم مدير البرنامج في الجمعية عاصم شريف مداخلة تثقيفية وتحفيزية، تحدّث بداية عن الحملة وأهدافها ومراحلها وأنشطتها التي تصبو في النهاية إلى إحداث تغيير إيجابي في ممارسات الشباب وأفكارهم ونظرتهم لدورهم في المجتمع. ثمّ حثّ فيها الشباب على ممارسة دورهم التشاركي والتفاعلي من أجل نشر ثقافة السلام وتعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي، واحترام وقبول الآخر، كما أضاف: "الشباب هم العنصر الأساسي في المجتمعات ومستقبلها، لذا من الضروري أن تكون أصواتهم مسموعة وأن يكونوا قادرين على المشاركة بأمان وبأسلوب هادف في الحياة العامة". كما دعا الشباب إلى "المشاركة في الحملة وأنشطتها والترويج لها لأن التماسك الاجتماعي ونشر السلام من مسؤوليتنا جميعنا".
تستمر الحملة طيلة الشهر القادم بتنفيذ مجموعة من الأنشطة والفعاليات الشبابية.
تأتي الحملة ضمن مشروع " تفعيل دور الشباب في تعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي في بعلبك الهرمل" الذي تنفذه الجمعية بدعم مادي من البرنامج الأوروبي الإقليمي للتنمية والحماية لدعم لبنان، الاردن والعراق ( RDPP II) وهو مبادرة أوروبية مشتركة بدعم من جمهورية التشيك، الدنمارك، الاتحاد الاوروبي، ايرلندا وسويسرا."
The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training has launched a campaign under the slogan "تخايل لو " (Imagine If) within the project "Youth-led Social Cohesion in Baalbek Hermel", with the aim of enhancing social cohesion by highlighting messages of cooperation, acceptance of the other and mutual respect, promoting diversity and unity, spreading messages about the dangers of stereotyping, discrimination and hate, and promoting protection pathways.
The campaign has been launched by an opening ceremony with the participation of youth and their families, as well as stakeholders. The ceremony started with the play "إلا إذا.." by the Lebanese actor Georges Khabbaz, which aims at shedding light on matters of coexistence, citizenship and acceptance of the other.
And because education is one of the methods of raising awareness, the program director at the association, Assem Chreif, presented an enlightening motivational speech. He first talked about the campaign, its goals, stages, and activities that ultimately aim to bring about positive change in youth practices, believes, and their important role in the society. Then he urged the youth to exercise their participatory and interactive role in order to spread the culture of peace and promote social cohesion, respect and acceptance of the other, and added: “Young people form an essential part in societies and the future of these societies, so it is necessary that their voices be heard and that they be able to participate safely and in a meaningful manner ". He also called on young people to "participate in and promote the campaign and its activities, because social cohesion and spreading peace is the responsibility that falls on all of us."
The campaign continues throughout the next month with a range of youth activities and events.
The campaign comes as part of the Youth-led Social Cohesion implemented by LOST and funded by the European Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP II) for Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq, which is supported by the Czech Republic, Denmark, the European Union.
