MAP- Media Association for Peace MAP is a pioneering NGO in Peace Journalism training and advocacy in Lebanon & MENA region.

MAP's name is inspired by the definition of Peace Journalism: “Peace Journalism approach provides a new road map tracing the connections between journalists, their sources, the stories they cover and the consequences of their reporting - the ethics of journalistic intervention”. (Peace Journalism, Jake Lynch and Annabel McGoldrick, Hawthorn Press, Stroud, UK, 2005). What is Peace Journalism?

Today, we celebrate the Media Association for Peace (MAP) 13th anniversary. We are proud that, despite all odds, we continue to enhance journalists’ skills in peace and conflict reporting, through capacity development initiatives, advocacy, and research.
