Founders
ADA (Aitou Development Association) was founded in 2016 by three Lebanese with different educational backgrounds and work experiences which reflect the various challenges of our Lebanese society. Jihad Khoury, got his MBA from the University of Chicago, worked in the US for few years before moving to Dubai like a big number of Lebanese aiming for a better opportunity. Said Saliba, immigr
ated to Peoria – Illinois USA after receiving his business degree from Kaslik University, the same city our grandfathers emigrated to a century ago, seeking for a better life. Today descendants from Aitou living in Peoria number over 6000. They are well established and have a good influence in their community. Chadi Younes received his business degree from LAU – Jbeil and is doing his best to provide a good life for his family in Lebanon. Despite of the differences that exist among the founders socially and politically, their attachment to the roots and their love for their village Aitou brought them back together with great enthusiasm to work. They decided to share their best experiences and practices for the wellbeing of their community via ADA.
