Hello everyone,
Do you remember Global Friendship, the community that was active at Suncheon National University until 2017?
It was launched as part of a “Better University Project”, aiming to create a space where Korean and international students could connect, exchange cultures, and build friendships.
Although the activities eventually paused, the meaning and value of the community still remain important.
Now, we’re looking for a current student who can responsibly take over and help continue this community.
We also hope that it can be passed on to another junior member before graduation, so that the spirit of Global Friendship can continue without interruption.
This was more than just a casual group — it was a space where cultures and languages were shared, and people became true friends. We’d love to see that warmth and connection live on.
Ideally, it would be great if the new leader could also manage Instagram, YouTube, and other channels in addition to Facebook.

순천대학교에서 2017년까지 활동했던 Global Friendship 커뮤니티를 기억하시나요?
이 모임은 한국인과 외국인 학생들이 서로 교류하고 어울릴 수 있도록,
‘좋은 대학 만들기 프로젝트’의 일환으로 시작되었습니다.
비록 지금은 활동이 멈췄지만, 그 의미와 가치는 여전히 소중하다고 생각합니다.
이제, 이 커뮤니티를 다시 이어가고 책임감 있게 운영해주실 재학생을 찾고 있습니다.
또한 졸업 전에는 다음 후배에게 자연스럽게 인계하여,
Global Friendship이 끊기지 않고 계속 이어질 수 있었으면 합니다.
단순한 모임이 아니라, 문화와 언어를 나누며 서로에게 친구가 되어주는
의미 있는 공간이었기에, 앞으로도 그런 따뜻한 연결이 지속되기를 바랍니다.
가능하다면 페이스북뿐 아니라 인스타그램, 유튜브 등 다양한 채널도 함께 운영해주실 수 있으면 좋겠습니다.
