KFEM

With over 80,000 members and 51 regional branches, the Korea Federation for Environmental Movements is Korea’s largest environmental organization. Founded in 1993 as an alliance of 8 national groups, KFEM has been at the forefront of environmental campaigning in Korea, and in 2002 became of member of Friends of the Earth International.

This page is intended to share the activities of KFEM with English speakers, both here and abroad. Weekly updates aim to keep readers up to date with the environmental issues facing Korea, and the actions KFEM and Korean civil society is taking to address them.
