Freak or Treat (프릭오트릿)은 한국 최초 할로윈 테마의 5K 마라톤입니다!
매해 할로윈 이맘때가 되면 우리는 살짝 고민을 하죠. ‘뭘 해야할것 같긴 한데.. 뭘 하지?’
그렇다면 올해는 할로윈을 저희와 함께 HEALTHY 하고 FUN하게 보내는건 어떠신가요? 바로 한국에 찾아온 첫 Freak or Treat 5K 마라톤! 멋지고 아름다운 사람들, 황당하고 웃긴 의상들, 온몸을 흔들게 하는 음악, 맛있는 먹거리들, 두 번 다시는 느끼지 못할 재미, 또 건강에도 좋은 유산소운동! 이 모든 것이 바로 Freak or Treat입니다. 오신다면 정말로 믿기지 않을 정도로 할로윈을 재미있게 보내실 겁니다. 매년 할로윈을 기다리게 될 거에요. 게다가 우리는 깔끔하게 티켓판매 수익의 50%를 비영리단체에
기부를 합니다. 수상하게 수익의 ‘일부’만 기부한다는 그런 말은 하고 싶지 않습니다. 한마디로 우리 레이스에 참여 하신 모든 분은 세상을 구하는데 기여하는 것입니다.
신나게 노는 것뿐만 아니라 상도 탈 기회가 있습니다! 가장 멋진 코스튬을 입고 오신 분께는 ‘베스트 코스튬’상을, 가장 멋있게 단체로 코스튬을 맞춰오신 분들께는 ‘베스트 팀 코스튬’상을 드릴 것입니다. 그 외에도 ‘베스트 패밀리 코스튬’ 등 다양한 상품과 재미를 기대하셔도 좋습니다!
저희가 말하는 ‘Freak’ 은 절대 괴짜를 뜻하는 것이 아닙니다. 저희에게 Freak이란 ‘어디서든 당당하게 자신의 본 모습을 드러내고 다니는 그런 멋진 사람’을 말합니다. 우리 모두 FREAK이 됩시다! If you’re tired of the same lame options for Halloween in Seoul, then this is your opportunity to express your creativity and enjoy Halloween in a fun and healthy way! Please welcome, the Freak or Treat 5K Halloween Run! Think beautiful people, ridiculous costumes, outlandish fun, healthy activities, bumpin’ music and tasty goodies. Not only will you have the BEST Halloween EVER, but you’ll also be saving the world (in a non-Superman/woman way). That’s right, we’re giving away a hefty 50% of our proceeds to charity (we keep our distance from saying stuff like “part” of profits going to charity… right). In addition to being a superhero, you’ll have a chance to compete for prizes such as Best Individual Costume, Best Team Costume, and Best Family Costume. So get up and get your get-up going! *We don’t mean freaky in a “freaks come out at night” sort of way or even a “freak in the sheets” sort of way (unless you come dressed up as a ghost by putting a sheet over your head, in which case it’s totally what we mean), but rather we define a freak as someone who is not afraid of being themselves regardless of what other people think.
