We are rolling out our Women Empowerment programs for sustainable livelihood under one umbrella dubbed; Women Empowerment for Poverty Alleviation (WEPA) which is Global Saemaul Development (GSDN) Initiative.
Sub programs to be implemented under the WEPA are the Saemaul Gari Ahontor Program (S-GAP) , the COVID-19 Economic Recovery program ; a skills training program to promote self reliance among Women and the Saemaul Women in Piggery Project which is soon to roll out.

On the 1-2nd November, 2022. GSDN Ghana presented its experiences from the Saemaul Gari Ahontor Project ( S-GAP); challenges, lessons learnt and way forward in Seoul National University , Seoul, South Korea. Together with other presenters and discussants implementing Saemaul across the globe we shared best practices and dialogued on moving the world towards economic stability through international cooperation.

Global Saemaul Development Network (GSDN)- Ghana is a Non Governmental Organization registered in Ghana with Headquarters in Gyeonsan City, South Korea.

GSDN is targeted at promoting Local Economic Development (LED) initiatives through the principles of Deligence, Self-Help cooperation, Sharing, Creativity and Service.

Our projects and programs are skewed towards the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) particularly 1 and 2.

GSDN walks in the footprint of the Korean community Development model; Saemaul undong (새마을운동) through which President Park Chung Hee of South Korea in the 1960s championed to raise a Korea out of an aid reciept country to now a donor country and a member of the OECD and a G20 member country.
