'키이우의 유령'은 러시아의 우크라이나 침공으로 인한 비극에 대응하기 위해 등장한 이니셔티브입니다. 저희의 비전은 자유롭고 독립적인 우크라이나입니다. 저희는 현재 우크라이나에서 벌어지고 있는 전쟁에 대한 경각심을 한국에 널리 알리려합니다. 저희는 이 전쟁의 시초를 여러분들이 보다 쉽게 이해할수 있도록 우크라이나의 역사와 문화, 음악 및 최근 뉴스 등을 통해 알려드리고자 합니다. 또한 강연과 토론, 모임 등 여러 커뮤니케이션 채널을 통해 한국의 대학에 우크라이나에 대한 올 바른 이해와 인식을 전달하고자 합니다.

키이우 출신인 저희는 러시아의 침략으로 인해 수백만 명의 다른 이들처럼 집으로 돌아갈 수가 없었습니다. 그래서 저희 스스로를 가리켜 '키이우의 유령'이라고 부릅니다. 저희는 모든

사람이 변화를 일으킬 수 있다고 믿습니다. 저희는 진실, 정의, 평등을 믿음으로써 어디에 있든 우크라이나를 지지합니다. 저희는 유구한 역사를 지닌 우크라이나가 자주적이고, 독립적인 국가로서 자신의 미래와 방향을 결정할 권리가 있음을 주장합니다.

저희는 전쟁의 경각심을 환기하고, 저희가 활동한 여러 행사와 관련된 수익이나 기부금을 전쟁의 피해로 고통 받는 이들에게 지원하고자 합니다. The ‘Ghosts of Kyiv’ is an initiative that emerged in response to the tragedy inflicted by the russian federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. We aim to spread awareness in Korea about the war unfolding in our country. Here you can find various insightful information about Ukrainian history, culture, music, and recent news, as we believe it is crucial in order to understand the roots of this war. Through lectures, panel discussions, and round tables, we will be raising awareness and spreading knowledge about Ukraine in Korean universities. We call ourselves ‘The Ghosts of Kyiv’ as we are originally from Kyiv but we cannot come back because of the russian aggression, like millions of other Ukrainians who became ghosts of war. We believe in truth, justice, and equality, and therefore we stand for Ukraine no matter where we are. We advocate that Ukraine, as an independent and sovereign nation with a long and comprehensive history, has the right to decide its own future and direction. Our main objective is to raise awareness and any donations or profits related to our events will be donated to the Ukrainian NGOs that assist those directly affected by the war.
