๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ | Agribusiness Students Gain Valuable Skills in Entrepreneurship Training Workshop
Agribusiness students participated in the Entrepreneurship Training (BEST Game) as part of the Agribiz Nurture project, which took place at the Catsu Library Little Theater. The training sessions, held from September 4-5,2024 for the 1st batch and September 11-12, 2024, aimed to provide participants with essential skills in savings, investment, budgeting, production planning, and pricing. The training was led by former Agribusiness Ecofirm Society President Lito Dacuba, with guidance from adviser Ms. Fe Valledor. DTI resource speaker Ma'am Nyl Vi T. Bongalos, along with experts Mr. Cedric Manalo, John Robert Velchez, and Mr. Janster Bonavente, shared their knowledge and insights during the training. The event concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Krisha Nell Lopez on the last day.
The Agribusiness students recently took part in an enriching Entrepreneurship Training (BEST Game) organized under the Agribiz Nurture project. The 1st batch, held on September 4-5, and the 2nd batch, on September 11-12, 2024, saw selected 1st and 4th-year students delving into topics such as savings, investment, budgeting, production planning, costing, and pricing.

The training featured DTI resource speaker Ma'am Nyl Vi T. Bongalos, who presented on the afternoon of day 2 along with experts Mr. Cedric Manalo and John Robert Velchez. Mr. Janster Bonavente taught in the 2nd batch of student participants. Students actively engaged in modules covering basic business principles, understanding market demand, customer relations, and business enhancement.
Despite facing challenges, students embraced the practical aspects of manufacturing and retailing, fostering relationships with peers and showcasing dedication to learning. The organizers' perseverance and sacrifices in navigating unforeseen circumstances were commendable, with attendees expressing gratitude for the event's impactful experience.
The event highlighted the importance of a strong mindset and risk calculation as keys to success, illustrating students' commitment to honing their entrepreneurial acumen.
