Subject: Mabuhay! "The Fighting Filipinos" - Filipino Soldiers in the Korean War
Taken on September 21, 2025, during the 2nd year of remembrance by Funtastic Pinoy, we gathered to show our grateful hearts to the young Filipino soldiers who sacrificed their lives to defend freedom in Korea during the Korean War, known in Korea as 6.25 전쟁.
With the theme “The Fighting Filipinos,” Funtastic Pinoy paid tribute through a simple yet meaningful program that included singing patriotic songs, offering flowers and candles, remembering the bravery of the fallen soldiers, and sharing the story and lessons of the war with the community.
Through this remembrance, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of the Filipino soldiers who fought for peace and freedom. Their bravery continues to inspire future generations to value unity, service, and gratitude.
