🌿 Become a Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor! 🌿

Ready to take your outdoor leadership to the next level?

With the generous support of the National Outdoor Ethics and Conservation Committee, the Far East Council is hosting a Virtual Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor Course—a rare opportunity to earn this respected certification!

✅ What You’ll Gain:
• Official recognition as a Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor
• Skills to teach outdoor ethics to Scouts, families, and your community
• Ability to lead workshops, support advancement, and promote conservation
• Tools to serve as a key outdoor ethics resource in your district and unit.

📅 Course Dates:
• Session 1: Saturday, June 6
• Session 2: Saturday, June 13
⏰ 0900–1400 JST (Must attend both sessions to earn certification)

💻 Course Format:
• 10 hours of live virtual instruction
• 6 hours of offline work between sessions

👥 Limited Capacity:
Only 12 participants – once full, additional registrations will be waitlisted!

Far East Council Camp Dragon 2026 is a once-in-a-lifetime Scouting experience—and it’s not your typical merit badge camp.

Each Scout selects ONE adventure track for the entire week, focusing on hands-on experiences—not classroom merit badges.

🤿 Under the Water – Scuba Adventure (additional fee) – Open Water certification or guided dives

🇺🇸 Presidents’ Day Office Closure Notice 🇺🇸

The Far East Council Offices and Scout Store will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents’ Day.
