We are proud to welcome back American Red Cross Regional Program Manager, Jordan Jacobs, to Osan AB in Korea as she returns from a three-week disaster deployment in support of communities impacted by Typhoon Sinlaku across Guam, Saipan and Tinian.
During her deployment, Jordan worked tirelessly to serve meals and assess disaster damage helping island communities take the first steps toward recovery. Jordan’s compassion, resilience, and commitment made a meaningful difference for families during a critical time.
Thank you for answering the call, representing the Red Cross mission with excellence, and supporting those in need—near and far. We are grateful for your service and thrilled to have you back home. 💪🌏❤️

Happy National Nurses Week! 🩺✨ From May 6th to May 12th, we celebrate and honor the incredible dedication of nurses and technicians, ending on the birthday of Florence Nightingale.

To show our appreciation, we hosted a special Coffee Cart for the 51st MDG, recognizing the many ways our nurses and techs support military members and their families. We served freshly brewed coffee, tea, and homemade baked goods to our hardworking team.

The highlight of the day? A special visit from Milo! 🐾 He brought so many smiles to our busy staff and received plenty of love in return.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event possible, and a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and techs who stopped by. We truly appreciate your dedication, compassion, and service to our community! ☕🍪

Event recap: Month of the Military Child Fair: honoring military-connected students and families 👏🏼✨

We came together to celebrate the Month of the Military Child and hosted CPR demonstrations while also sharing information about the Red Cross and our mission. It was a meaningful opportunity to help students learn life-saving skills.

Although it was a very hot day, the fair was a huge success, and we were able to reach about 160 people in total. It was truly an honor to have the opportunity to support young military children in this way.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, and helped make the day feel connected and special.

Annual Spouse Appreciation Day: Art Therapy 🎨✨The Heart Behind the Uniform 💕
We recently hosted two Art Therapy sessions for Spouse Appreciation Week, and the results were beautiful! With 13 participants per session, it was a powerful space for our military spouses to reconnect with themselves and explore the meaning of self-love through creativity. At the end of each session, participants had the chance to share their artwork and the personal meaning behind it, creating a truly moving experience for everyone involved.
🙌 A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers who spent two full days with us—from setup to takedown, you truly are the backbone of everything we do!
❤️ Special thanks to our talented partner, Grace, for leading these sessions with so much heart. To Osan Air Base M&FRC for their incredible support on room and supplies.
To our spouses: You are "the wind beneath their wings." Thank you for the significant, often unseen sacrifices you make every day in support of our service members. 🇺🇸
