📢 Mandatory Insurance Guide for Seasonal Workers

Seasonal workers in Korea are required to enroll in several mandatory insurance programs.
Please check the information below carefully.

🛡️ 3 Mandatory Insurance Programs

1️⃣ Wage Payment Guarantee Insurance

Subscriber: Employer
Coverage for unpaid wages (up to 4 million KRW)
Must enroll within 30 days from the employment contract effective date

2️⃣ Farmers’ Safety Insurance

Subscriber: Employer
Covers accidents, injuries, and medical expenses
New entrants: enroll within 15 days from foreigner registration
Re-entrants: enroll within 15 days from employment contract effective date

3️⃣ Accident Insurance

Subscriber: Seasonal worker
Covers accidents and medical treatment expenses
Must enroll within 15 days from entry into Korea

⚠️ Important Notes

Failure to enroll within the required period may result in a fine of up to 5 million KRW
Seasonal farms employing 5 or more workers may enroll only in industrial accident insurance instead
Accident insurance can be purchased before entering Korea using passport information

✨ 필리핀 커뮤니티는 5월 9일(토) 평택시 농업생태원 피크닉장에서 필리핀 전통음식 나눔과 교류 활동을 진행했습니다. 맛있는 음식과 함께 참여자들 간의 따뜻한 소통의 시간이 펼쳐졌습니다.

✨ 베트남(한류한마음) 커뮤니티는 5월 10일(일) 안성팜랜드를 방문하여 다문화가족이 함께하는 지역 명소 탐방 및 교류 활동을 진행했습니다. 아름다운 자연 속에서 가족 간, 참여자 간 유대감을 높이는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.

이번 프로그램을 통해 외국인 커뮤니티 구성원들이 지역사회와 함께 어울리며 상호 이해와 화합의 기회를 만들어 나가고 있습니다. 😊
