Last week, the IRM underscored the role grievance redress in Green Climate Fund projects at the GCF Conference.

Our side event looked at GCF’s ecosystem of redress and the IRM's role in addressing complaints from project-affected people. We also introduced our "Road to Redress" board game, which walked players through our complaint handling process.

Last year, five organisations received the IRM's CSO Advocacy Grant to increase awareness of the IRM and deliver targeted outreach activities for local communities.

Samata, a social justice organisation in India that champions the rights of tribal communities and the protection of their lands, natural resources, and environment, was one of the CSOs selected.

On Wednesday, during the Green Climate Fund Regional Dialogue with Latin America, Paul Goodwin, IRM Compliance and Policy Lead, joined a panel discussion on and Integrity.
