[🎉2025 ICM 무예 교육상 수상자 선정]

👏2025 ICM 무예 교육상 수상자는 프로젝트 아오카스입니다.

🥋해당 기관은 캄보디아에서 장애인과 여성 등을 대상으로 포용적인 주짓수 및 쿤 크메르(캄보디아 전통 무예) 수업을 운영해왔습니다. 이들 중 일부는 국가 대표 선수로 국제대회에 출전하는 성과를 거두었습니다. 또한 포용적 스포츠 지도자를 양성하고 경제 교육·기술 훈련·업무 경험 제공, 정신건강 지원을 통해 참가자들의 삶 전반에 지속적이고 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어냈습니다.

[🎉2025 UNESCO ICM Martial Arts Education Prize Laureate]

👏The winner of the 2025 ICM Martial Arts Education Prize is Project Aokas.

🥋Based in Cambodia, Project Aokas has been delivering inclusive Jiu-Jitsu and Cambodia’s traditional martial art, Kun Khmer classes, welcoming women, and persons with disabilities. Remarkably, some of its young participants have represented Cambodia as members of the national team in international competitions. In addition, Project Aokas has also trained inclusive sports instructors, provided financial literacy and technical training, offered work experience, and supported mental health. Through these efforts, it has created lasting positive change in the lives of its participants.

몸과 마음을 지키고 단련하는 특별한 하루를 보냈습니다 💪

🎉On August 13, UNESCO ICM × KSPO hosted the “Next Generation Martial Arts (Self-Defense) Education Program” !👏

From K-OVEP Olympic Values Education to Taekkyeon (inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list), plus Hapkido and nunchaku training😊 — it was a special day to protect and strengthen both body and mind💪

International Centre of Martial Arts for Youth Development and Engagement under the auspices of UNESCO(ICM) and University of Tennessee Chattanooga(UTC) are seeking implementing partners for ‘Supporting people with disability in martial arts training’ to enhance the physical and emotional health of persons with disabilities through martial arts activities.
- ⭐️Period: 5-day training
- Venue: A selected institution located in Bangladesh, India, or Vietnam
- Main activities: Educate health providers and individuals with disability in the selected organization
- ⭐️Others: Approx. 6,500 USD will be provided to the hosting organization

유네스코 국제무예센터에서 무예 가치 기반 청소년 신체 및 정서 발달과 사회참여 역량 강화를 목적으로 「청소년 역량 강화 캠프」를 개최합니다. 🎉🎉🎉

이번 캠프는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 무예 수련(택견)과 심리 치료(회복탄력성 증진) 교육을 진행합니다.

📅 프로그램 운영기간은 5.12.(월)부터 6.30.(월)이며 매주 월, 수, 금요일 13:30~15:30 동안 교육이 이뤄집니다.

⭐3.19.(수)부터 3.25.(화)까지 참가자 및 서포터즈를 모집하오니 관심 있는 분들의 많은 참여 바랍니다.

👏ICM is hosting the Youth Capacity Building Camp with the purpose of contributing to youth physical and psychological development and social engagement.👏

⭐ The camp consists of two types of programs for local out of school youths in Chung ju city, Republic of Korea. Martial arts training (Taekkyeon) and psychological theraphy (to increase resillience) will take place from 12 May until 30 June, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 13:30-15:30.

📅Call for particpants is open from 19 March to 15 March.
