Through projection mapping and audiovisual installations, Han reframes the repetitions of daily life through a playful yet critical lens.

Jang Wookhee visualizes the psychological and emotional dimensions embedded in the ways we handle nature in everyday life. Using ordinary household objects and living plants, she examines the contradictions produced by human convenience and desire. Through slow, repetitive acts of handstitching and the gradual growth of plants, Jang introduces the possibility of care and healing mediated by time and attention. Her process reveals the tension between the artificial and the organic, control and surrender, guilt and affection—an attempt to reflect on the conflicted ecological sensibilities that shape our present condition.

Lim Hyungjun, who works between Korea and Europe, explores the balance between traditional sculptural sensibilities and contemporary formal experimentation. In 2008, he served as a design consultant for the inter-Korean joint venture Arirang Taerim Stone Joint Company, traveling regularly to Kaesong and engaging in sustained dialogues with North Korean sculptors. During this period, he collaborated with artists from the Mansudae Art Studio to produce what has become one of the most recognized inter-Korean collaborative sculptures created since the division of the peninsula. The work stands not only as a technical collaboration but also as an important milestone in inter-Korean artistic exchange and a quiet yet potent symbol of reconciliation.

Based in Seoul, Yu Sujin investigates narratives embedded within specific sites and the social networks that characterize to these places. Her research covers marginalized or declining neighborhoods—such as Ahyeon-dong, Daebangdong, and Daegu’s sewing district—to immigrantdense areas like Garibong and Hyehwa, as well as the Koryoin (ethnic Koreans from Central Asia) community in Cheongju. Rather than merely depicting these locations, Yu gathers lived experiences and voices, reassembling them through narrative and sculptural strategies that reveal the layered communities, migrations, and cultural spheres that constitute contemporary Korean society.

Wang Zhenghong works at the threshold between sculpture and jewelry, examining how the body negotiates its relationship with material form. Grounded in extensive experimentation with metal and a wide range of materials, her practice reinterprets structures that touch or envelop the body, expanding the possibilities of wearable
sculpture. Combining an East Asian sensibility for form with the experimental ethos of Western contemporary art, Wang reveals the tensions between participation and performance, objecthood and corporeality. Her works consistently question how sculpture can become a bodily experience and, further, a social gesture.

Oh Jeisung explores how traditional Korean sculptural sensibilities can survive, evolve, and expand within contemporary contexts. His practice examines sculptural norms and techniques accumulated from classical vernacular sculpture to early modern forms, approaching them through hands-on research. These materials and methods are then reinterpreted through 3D scanning, printing, and contemporary industrial materials. By interweaving the diverse styles and approaches of earlier sculptors through a contemporary lens, Oh searches for new sculptural possibilities in which tradition and modernity coexist and resonate.

Andrew Ananda Voogel is a mixed media artist whose practice examines the poetics of time through the lens of a post-colonial imagination. Working across sculpture, photography, and video, his works extend the boundaries of perception and subjective experience. He has lived and worked in the United States, South Korea, India, Taiwan and South Africa. Voogel has twice been nominated for the SFMOMA SECA Award. Voogel has also realized public art projects in contexts such as the DMZ and Taiwan, engaging sites marked by layered histories and geopolitical tension.

Atlas Mapping Collective is a research-driven group that approaches the city as a living stratigraphy—a layered field where information, memories, and cultural logic continually circulate. Through the dual lenses of data and image, the collective interprets the spatial structures and cultural flows that cities produce over time, constructing new visual languages that reveal otherwise unseen patterns of urban resonance. 작가 소개
백정기는 재료의 물성과 에너지의 흐름이 만들어내는 감각적·사유적 장(場)을 탐구해왔다. 그의 작업은 과학적 실험, 자연의 현존성, 신앙·미신·의례적 행위가 교차하는 지점을 동시대 조각의 언어로 번역하는 시도에 가깝다. 촛불의 열로 발전기를 구동해 병아리를 부화시키는 설치, 식물 색소로 인화한 풍경 이미지 등은 물질이 지닌 에너지의 생성·변환 과정을 드러내며, 인간 환경과 자연, 기술 사이의 미세한 파동과 긴장을 시각적 사건으로 확장한다. 백정기의 작업은 사물과 세계 사이를 흐르는 ‘보이지 않는 힘’을 포착하고, 그것이 조각적 경험으로 전환되는 방식을 지속적으로 실험해왔다.

Beak Jungki explores the materiality of substances and the flow of energy, constructing perceptual and conceptual fields where scientific thinking intersects with religious beliefs, rituals, and superstitions. His works—such as installations that hatch chicks by powering a generator with candle heat, or landscape images developed with plant pigments—reveal the generative and transformative processes of matter. By tracing the subtle currents between nature, technology, and the human environment, Beak transforms invisible forces into sculptural events. His practice reflects a sustained inquiry into how energy and material resonance shape our experience of the world.

작가 소개
민성홍은 일상의 환경이 사회적·제도적 조건에 의해 급격하게 변할 때, 개인에게 발생하는 불안과 내적 반응, 그리고 그 감각의 자각 과정에 주목해왔다. 그는 사람들이 떠난 뒤 사용 목적이 희미해진 사물과 집기들을 수집하여 해체·재조합하고, 이를 가변적 구조물과 설치 작업으로 다시 배치한다. 이러한 과정에서 구슬, 레이스, 표면 이미지 등 장식적 요소를 더하여 크고 작은 오브제가 얽힌 촉각적 구조를 형성함으로써, 외부변화와 마주하는 개인의 정서를 시각적·신체적 경험으로 번역한다. 그의 작업은 일상의 잔여물이 지닌 정동을 포착하고, 그것이 다시 새로운 의미망 속에 자리 잡는 순간을 탐구한다.

𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘉𝘪𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺
Min Sunghong explores the anxiety, emotional turbulence, and perceptual shifts that arise when everyday environments are inevitably reshaped by social systems. Collecting objects and furnishings abandoned after their original utilitarian functions have been eliminated, he dismantles and recomposes them into mobile and variable sculptural installations. Embellishments such as beads, lace, and surface imagery are layered onto these structures, generating tactile constellations of small and large objects. Through this process, Min translates the emotional register of individuals confronting external change into a visual and bodily experience. His work traces the residues embedded in everyday remnants and the ways these fragments acquire new meaning within reconstructed contexts.

김상균은 사람이 만들어 놓은 사물과 구조물들을 관찰하고, 그 속에 잠재한 의미들을 사유하며 이를 작업으로 전환하는데 주력해왔다. 이러한 개인적 관심을 조각의 언어로 풀어내기 위해 건축물에서 비롯된 다양한 이미지를 재현과 해체의 방식을 통해 기하학적 형태로 재구성하는 구축적 작업을 지속하고 있다. 동시대적 담론과 상징을 드러내기 위해 시멘트(Grout)를 주요 재료로 사용하며, 그 물질성에 대한 연구를 병행하고 있다.
