friendly cooking, socializing, humanitarian contributions
What is the LITTLE KITCHEN? The taste of our local cuisine always carries with it a story, memory, events, recipes and cooking skills that are passed on for generations. Sharing that taste is what created the idea of a "Little Kitchen" - a project which aims to bring together amateur cooks and those who want to socialize through degustat
ion and learn about national cuisines and cultures from around the world. Once a month, we bring together those who want to taste and learn about cuisines from different parts of the globe, and interact with the cultures from which those cuisines come. "Little Kitchen" events will take place once a month at Meta House. Each event will be devoted to a single country, its cuisine, traditions and cultures, to be presented by people from that country. Music, short presentations and surprise performances will accompany the events. How does LITTLE KITCHEN benefit the community? Meta House hosts the "Little Kitchen" project because it aims to support social and humanitarian activities in the local community. For the symbolic ticket price we provide you a tasty and interesting program, but also at the same time ensure that the all profits from ticket sales sponsor worthwhile activities. These activities will be publicly presented in each of our events, and we're also open to ideas and suggestions as to the best ways to donate and make a difference.
