Kulen Outreach is an education program providing access to quality education in Northern Cambodia.

We’re proud to share that Kulen Outreach Organization is now an official partner of the NGO Education Partnership (NEP Cambodia).

At Kulen Outreach, our mission has always been clear: to provide a full education from first grade to college graduation for students in some of Cambodia’s most remote communities.

Joining NEP connects us to a powerful network of over 100 organizations working together to strengthen education across the country, improve collaboration, and contribute to national dialogue and policy development.

By working alongside other education-focused NGOs, we can share knowledge and strengthen our programs.

We’re excited for what lies ahead and grateful to be part of a collective effort driving long-term change in education.

This past week, teachers Sarah, Steffi, and Lara taught in the Klaeijsen Learning Center on Kulen Mountain. This was the first time European exchange students from our partner universities spent the week actively participating in the rural villages, alongside our teachers. The project went really well and we had a great time learning together! 🫶

CONGRATULATIONS to these incredible girls who made the impossible possible!!
This group of young women has officially GRADUATED from high school and the Kulen Outreach program. They all come from regions without access to secondary education. Today, they are enrolling in their dream universities.
We are proud. We are inspired. And we are just getting started. WHO RUN THE WORLD?

On Saturday we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the Kulen Outreach Learning Center! Last year in February we started our after school primary education program, in which we provide free English and ethics classes for the kids of the Kulen Mountain jungle villages. It’s been a successful year and we cannot wait to see our program evolve. Thank you to everyone involved. ❤️

Congratulations to Sreyneath! After successfully completing our primary and secondary program, she is now the top student at her culinary school! This is once again proof that girls from rural areas do not lack intelligence or skill, only opportunity. 👩‍🍳👏❤️

✨ INTRODUCTION WEEKEND ✨
Last weekend, we had our very first Introduction Weekend at Kulen Outreach, a milestone in our mission of Education Without Limits.

For the first time, our Grade 6 Learning Center students came to the city for a full weekend at the Boarding School, a place that might soon become their future home, to experience a day in the life.

For many, it was their first time away from family… and their first time in the city.

Here’s what they experienced:
📚 Joined boarding school classes
🎬 Enjoyed movie night with new friends
🏫 Visited their future high school
🎤 Listened to student experiences
🍜 Took part in a fun cooking workshop
🎨 Made picture frames during arts & crafts
🏙 Explored Siem Reap for the first time
📸 Took a souvenir photo to remember it all

Thank you to our amazing team who made this weekend unforgettable. See you next school year 💛

Education for Everyone

Kulen Outreach is a non-profit organization providing quality education to children from the rural Phnom Kulen region of northern Cambodia.

Our Mission: It is our mission to provide the children from the rural region of Phnom Kulen with the opportunity to be a part of Cambodia’s future growth and development. We achieve this by providing these children with high quality education and by exposing them to the myriad of opportunities available to them in today’s Cambodia.

Our Program: Our education program is based on an integral approach of our students personal and professional development. It consists of two components: our primary schools in Phnom Kulen, and the Enrichment Program in Siem Reap as a complement to the local high school’s curriculum.

Our Locations: Kulen Outreach has three locations. Two primary schools located in the rural countryside currently provide education to 240 children. Our Siem Reap Campus houses 30 of our rural students, enabling them to continue their education at the secondary level in the city. The campus is also home to our Enrichment Program.
