🎓 Celebrating Achievement at Feeding Dreams Cambodia! PART TWO

A huge congratulations to our outstanding English students across all levels — from Let’s Go Starter to Let’s Go 5 in our morning and afternoon shifts, and Family and Friends 2 to Family and Friends 5, along with Beginner to Pre‑Intermediate, in our evening classes.

After three months of dedicated learning from December to February, our students proudly completed their exams on 26 February 2026 — earning certificates that recognise their hard work, progress, and commitment to education.

Each certificate represents more than just a milestone — it’s a symbol of perseverance, teamwork, and the transformative power of learning.

We’re incredibly proud of every student and grateful to our passionate teachers who make learning interactive, inspiring, and fun every single day.🧡

Monthly Update from CHAN Tour – IT Assistant & Computer Teacher 💻
This month, our students have made excellent progress in building their foundational computer skills. In Microsoft Word, they’ve learned how to create, edit, and format documents — from typing and changing fonts to inserting pictures and organising information professionally.

In Microsoft Excel, students practiced creating tables, using basic formulas, managing data, and designing simple worksheets. Their confidence has grown noticeably as they apply these skills in class.

Most of our planned lessons for the month are now complete, and it’s inspiring to see students becoming more comfortable and capable with the computer applications they’ll rely on throughout their education.

Every step forward is a step toward a brighter future — and our students are moving confidently.

Behind every smile at Feeding Dreams Cambodia is a powerful story. Our students come from vulnerable villages and slum communities where education is often out of reach. Many arrive hungry, shy, and unsure of their place in the world.
Through our Education Program, they gain far more than lessons. They learn English, Maths, and I.T., express themselves through arts and public speaking, and grow stronger through sports. Just as importantly, they develop respect, hygiene habits, life skills, and social awareness — the foundations of dignity and opportunity.

Last year’s school year, enrolment reached a record 913 students — our highest ever and a strong sign of recovery and growth after the challenges of COVID 19. We remain committed to gender equality, with a consistently balanced student population of 52% girls (5,175) and 48% boys (4,655), ensuring equal access to education for children in marginalized communities.

Your support transforms lives. Children who once faced impossible barriers are now confident, capable, and dreaming bigger than ever.

We 🧡 our volunteers as much as they love volunteering at Feeding Dreams Cambodia ! Thank you Claire who recently volunteered with us and left us a wonderful 5 star review:
CLAIRE FINAN ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommends Feeding Dreams Cambodia:
I volunteered for the day at Feeding Dreams and absolutely loved my time here. The teachers and kids here are all so lovely and polite. The kids are so eager to learn and they are an absolute joy to be around. This is such an amazing school which gives under privileged children a chance to learn English for a few hours a day. I only wish I could have stayed longer. It was also so easy to organize. As I was only volunteering for the day, I just messaged Mr Chanthou the day before to let him know I would like to volunteer. If you want to volunteer for longer, you may need to contact a bit more in advance. I highly recommend coming to this school to volunteer and see the wonderful work they’re doing here whether it’s for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year you will be sure to have a great time!

Wonderful News From Our Community Support Department! 🧡
Today our Social Workers shared some truly uplifting news that reminds us how powerful kindness can be.

Kinga from the UK — has reached out with an incredible act of generosity. She and her husband have donated brand new backpacks and shampoo for our students, giving them confidence, dignity, and the essentials they need for school.
But her kindness didn’t stop there.

Kinga has also sponsored a child through our FDC Child Sponsorship Program — and has even selected two additional child profiles for her friends who wish to join her in changing lives. Their sponsorship payments have already been received directly through FDC Finance, meaning support is reaching the children immediately.

To Kinga, her husband, and her friends — thank you. Your compassion is already making a real and lasting difference. Our entire FDC family is deeply grateful.

About FDC Child Sponsorship:
For just usd$50 a month, sponsors provide a child with:
• Education and school supplies
• Daily nutritious meals
• Healthcare support
• A safe place to learn, play, and grow
• Ongoing guidance from our Community Support Department

Sponsorship changes a child’s life — and strengthens an entire family.

Commitment to Transparency Through Independent Financial Audit.

At Feeding Dreams Cambodia, transparency, accountability, and strong governance remain at the heart of everything we do.

We are pleased to share that V Chartered Accountants Co., Ltd., an independent external audit firm based in Phnom Penh, has completed a 2.5-day onsite audit of Feeding Dreams Cambodia’s financial statements

This important process reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible financial management and ensuring that every contribution entrusted to us is managed with integrity and care.

A heartfelt thank you to our finance and operations team for their hard work, preparation, and dedication throughout the audit process, as well as to the auditors for their professionalism and collaboration.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our donors, partners, and supporters for the continued trust that enables us to serve children, families, and communities across Cambodia.

A few days ago, a team of doctors from Chreav Health Center, together with a community health worker from Sala Kamreuk commune, visited Feeding Dreams Cambodia to provide vitamin A supplements and insecticide treatment to all children aged five and under.

These simple but essential health interventions help protect our youngest students from preventable illness and support their healthy growth. We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the ongoing care shown to our community’s children.

The health of those we serve remains our highest priority.
Alongside nutritious daily meals, dedicated social workers, and our free education program, we work hard to ensure every child grows up healthy, supported, and thriving. Today’s visit is another reminder of what strong community collaboration can achieve for vulnerable children.

Over the past 1.5 days, I had the opportunity to attend a “Do No Harm” workshop in Siem Reap, together with more than 20 NGOs across Cambodia.

As the Head of Feeding Dreams Cambodia, this was a valuable moment to reflect. Even with the best intentions, our work can sometimes create unintended challenges if we are not fully aware of the context we operate in.

The workshop helped deepen my understanding of conflict sensitivity, especially how to identify what connects communities and what may divide them, and how our programs and actions can influence both.

What really stayed with me is this: impact is not only about what we do, but how we do it.

I’m grateful for the chance to connect and learn alongside other NGO leaders who are equally committed to responsible and sustainable development.

Thank you to Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) and the NGOs Network for organizing this important workshop.

Taking these lessons forward as we continue our work at Feeding Dreams Cambodia.
