In a Cambodian public school, there may be 60 children in one classroom, qualifications (if they can be achieved) are useless and the full curriculum can only be achieved by attending compulsory paid extra-classes. Many children cannot even afford to go to school. ISE offers children an equal education that of a school in England. The school follows the UK Curriculum and children can even graduate
to achieve IGCSEs (International Certificates of General Secondary Education) or International Advanced-Level Certificates, allowing them the potential to go to university or get high-level work anywhere in the world. We provide many job specific qualifications, such as in Accountancy and computer qualifications. Children will learn the most important languages in Cambodia: Khmer, English, Chinese and French. All teachers are qualified professionals with majors in the subjects they teach. Maximum class sizes are 12. We also help with the basics. Helping the families under our care find jobs, apprenticeships or careers to support themselves. Providing food, building sanitary equipment, improving standard of living. We need to grow. We want to help more people and to be able to provide the best education possible. International standard teaching resources are very expensive and the school still needs many things such as microscopes, a variety of books and primary resources. A small amount of money goes a very long way in Cambodia. If you can help, or if you want more information, please see our website or email [email protected]
