This initiative is more than training—it’s a learning exchange where Singaporean and Cambodian students share ideas, plant trees, and take action for greener communities.

By combining safe water, waste education, and tree planting, we’re building healthier schools and a sustainable future for Cambodia.

✨ From hardship to hope ✨
There was a time when families here lived without latrines or clean water. Daily life was difficult, and health risks were constant.

Today, everything has changed. Access to safe water and sanitation has brought dignity, health, and joy. You can see in this video how happy she is — her smile says it all.

We were honored to welcome Fiona Jeffery, the Founder of Just a Drop, and their sponsor BAC, to visit the Water for Cambodia projects.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share the impact of our work and the lives being transformed through access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. Over the past decade, Just a Drop has been more than a donor to us — they have been a true long-term partner, walking alongside us in our shared vision of bringing clean water and healthier communities to rural Cambodia.

Thanks to this partnership and the continued support from their sponsors, thousands of families now have access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation.

We were honored to welcome our US Board for a very special visit as we celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Water for Cambodia 🎉

It was an incredible time to reflect on how far we have come together. Over the past 20 years, with the strong support of our Board and generous donors, we have installed more than 34,000 biosand filters, reaching over 300,000 people with access to safe, clean water.

This milestone is not just about numbers — it represents healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures across Cambodia.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our US Board for their leadership and commitment, and to every donor who has supported us throughout this journey. Your trust and partnership have made this impact possible.

💧 Water for Cambodia – 2025 Highlights 🇰🇭

In 2025, Water for Cambodia delivered life-changing WASH support across Cambodia—made possible by our U.S. Board, partners, and generous donors 🙏

✔️ Installed 1,733 household biosand filters—bringing safe drinking water to families
✔️ Installed 22 large water filters for schools, refugee communities (10,000+ people), health centers, Angkor Park, Siem Reap city, Tonle Sap Lake, and NGO partners
✔️ Built 169 household latrines and 17 school latrines (50 stalls)
✔️ Constructed 12 toilet facilities (36 stalls) for pagodas serving refugees
✔️ Successfully piloted Menstrual Health training, reaching 1,009 students and parents
✔️ Worked alongside the Siem Reap Government during the border conflict to ensure clean water and safe sanitation for communities in need
