នៅថ្ងៃទីសុក្រ ១៤រោច ខែជេស្ឋ ឆ្នាំមមី អដ្ឋស័ក ពុទ្ធសករាជ២៥៧០ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ អង្គការអ្នកត្រួសត្រាយនៃកម្ពុជា (TCO) សហការជាមួយអង្គការវលហ្វីស (WorldFish) បានរៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំស្ដីពី “ការត្រួតពិនិត្យផែនការសកម្មភាព និងរៀបចំផែនការបន្សាំសម្រាប់ឆ្នាំ២០២៦” ជាមួយសហគមន៍គោលដៅចំនួន៥ ក្នុងស្រុកសូទ្រនិគម ខេត្តសៀមរាប។ កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះមានអ្នកចូលរួមសរុបចំនួន១៩នាក់ ក្នុងនោះស្រី៣នាក់ ដោយមានការចូលរួមពីតំណាងអាជ្ញាធរឃុំដានរុន ឃុំខ្ចាស់ និងឃុំកៀនសង្កែ តំណាងគណៈកម្មការសហគមន៍ទាំង៥ តំណាងអង្គការវលហ្វីស និងតំណាងអង្គការអ្នកត្រួសត្រាយនៃកម្ពុជា។

តាមរយៈកិច្ចប្រជុំនេះ ភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធបានរួមគ្នាពិនិត្យវឌ្ឍនភាពការងារ កំណត់បញ្ហាប្រឈម និងរៀបចំផែនការបន្សាំសម្រាប់ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ដើម្បីពង្រឹងការគ្រប់គ្រង និងអភិរក្សធនធានជលផលប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាព និងលើកកម្ពស់ជីវភាពរស់នៅរបស់សហគមន៍មូលដ្ឋាន។

May 15, 2026, Trailblazer Cambodia Organization, in collaboration with WorldFish, organized a meeting on “Reviewing Community Action Plans and Developing Adaptive Plans for 2026” with five target communities in Soutr Nikom District, Siem Reap.

The meeting brought together a total of 19 participants, including 3 women, with representatives from Dan Run Commune, Khchas Commune, and Kien Sangkae Commune authorities, community committee representatives from the five target communities, representatives from WorldFish, and representatives from Trailblazer Cambodia Organization.

The meeting provided an opportunity for all stakeholders to review progress, identify challenges, and jointly develop adaptation plans for 2026 to strengthen sustainable fisheries resource management and improve local livelihoods within the communities.

🐟 We just completed a Refresher Training on Fish Ecology, EAFM & SMART Approach to identify Goal, Objective, and Activity with 10 participants (including 3 women) from commune authorities and committees of Trapeang Kuy, Trapeang Phluos, Trapeang Khnar Kantraing​ Community Fish Refuge (CFR), and Thnal Dach community fisheries!

📈 Post-test results showed major improvement — participants rating Very Good jumped from 0% to 40%, while Poor ratings dropped from 30% to 20%.

Building capacity at the grassroots level for sustainable fisheries and next generations! 💙

On March 30-31, 2026, Trailblazer Cambodia Organization (TCO) successfully facilitated a comprehensive training workshop on "Leadership, Digital Literacy, Resource Mobilization, and communication with stakeholders." to the management committee of Cultural, Natural, Community-Based Tourism Association of Boeng Pearaing, with a total of 18 participants (14 males and 4 females) including Chong Khneas community fisheries committee.

Key Objectives of the Training:
✅ Leadership & Digital Literacy: Enhancing management skills and navigating digital tools for community growth.
✅ Resource Mobilization: Equipping members with strategies to secure resources for local projects.
✅ Business Networking: Strengthening communication skills to effectively partner with stakeholders.

This initiative is a vital step toward fostering self-reliance within our local communities, ensuring sustainable economic growth and the preservation of our natural and cultural heritage.

The Trailblazer Cambodia Organization, under the project "Preserving Forest Cover for the Improvement of Human Life and Biodiversity"—funded by the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme of the United Nations Development Programme (SGP GEF UNDP)—collaborated with the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Environment and local authorities to organize the official proclamation ceremony for the recognition of the Phnom Pok Community Protected Area. The event took place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Ou Village, Khvav Commune, Chi Kraeng District, Siem Reap Province.

Event Participants
The ceremony was attended by over 100 participants, including:
- Mr. Kheun Sokunviseth, Deputy Director of the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Environment.
-Mr. Thou Chanthol, Deputy Governor of Chi Kraeng District.
- Ms. Chep Malibopha, Executive Director of TCO.

Local authorities, technical officials, park rangers, and local residents.

The Phnom Pok Community Protected Area was transitioned from the "Phnom Pok Community Forest" to fall under the management of the Ministry of Environment via Prokas No. 207, dated May 27, 2022. This community covers a total land area of 2,113 hectares and is located in Ou Village, Khvav Commune, Chi Kraeng District, Siem Reap Province.

Key Objectives and Dissemination
During the program, the following essential information was disseminated to the community committee and local citizens:
- Roles and Responsibilities: Defining the duties and rights of the Community Protected Area Committee.
- Fire Prevention: Sharing the Ministry of Environment’s guidelines regarding measures to protect against and prevent wildfires.
- Environmental Code: Highlighting Chapter 6: Participation and Access Rights of Local Communities (specifically Articles 368, 369, and 372) of the Environmental Code to enhance local knowledge and legal awareness.

On January 05-06, 2026, Trailblazer Cambodia Organization provided a training on the Results-Based Report Writing at the Culture Natural Community-Based Tourism Association of Pearaing [CNCBTAP] office, with a total of 23 participants, 5 women including Chong Khneas Community Fishery committee members. The objective of the training is to enhance the capacity of the management committee in Results-Based Report Writing, highlights the differences between activity reports and Results-based reports, as well as providing opportunities to share knowledge through practical exercises and discussion during training.

This course can be conducted under the Capacity Improvement for Sustainable Management and Biodiversity Conservation of Culture Natural Community-Based Tourism Boeung Pearaing, funded by the Global Environment Programme of the United Nations Development Programme (SGP GEF UNDP) and the Community Capacity Enhancement for Sustainable Management of Freshwater Fisheries project funded by the European Union (EU) through the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural resources (IUCN).
