Opening Doors Cambodia would like to express our deepest gratitude to all donors, students’ parents, friends, organisations, businesses, partners, and supporters who have taken part in this campaign with us.
Our bicycle ride of more than 600 kilometres has now come to an end, but our fundraising mission is not yet finished.
So far, we have raised approximately US$12,073.01, including an amount that one generous donor has pledged to contribute, from the following sources:
1. Local Donations: US$1,680.05
- Through ABA and local donations: US$1,564.05
- Cash donations from ODC students’ parents and donors along the route during the bike ride: US$116
2. Donations from Paul’s friends and networks in Australia: US$5,584.81
3. GlobalGiving: US$793.85
4. Myriad Australia: A$3,528.41 ≈ US$2,493.17
5. JustGiving – Ian’s fundraising campaign: £80 ≈ US$107.93
6. An amount pledged by one generous donor through Myriad Australia: A$2,000 ≈ US$1,413.20
Total: US$12,073.01
This is a meaningful result for us, and it would not have been possible without the support of all of you. Every donation, whether large or small, every share, every word of encouragement, and every effort to help spread the message has contributed to bringing us to this point.
However, our necessary goal is US$20,000 to provide the funding we still need to continue ODC’s operations through the end of 2026 and to ensure that our students can continue their education without interruption.
This means that we still need approximately US$7,926.99 more to reach this goal.

Sometimes, one introduction can open a new door of opportunity for many children.
We are not only focused on keeping ODC’s operations going through the end of 2026; we are also planning ahead for 2027.
At the end of this year, our team plans to organise another Ride for Education campaign, with a fundraising goal of approximately US$30,000 to help ensure the sustainability of ODC’s operations throughout 2027.
We want to plan ahead, strengthen our financial stability, and make sure that children’s education does not have to wait until a crisis occurs before we begin looking for solutions.
The bike ride has ended, but the mission continues.
