Cambodian Self Help Demining - CSHD "None of this can be done alone." Bill Cambodia Self-Help Demining (CSHD) was officially founded by Aki Ra and William W. Morse (aka Bill).

Aki Ra began demining on his own in the 1990s working with a stick and a pair of pliers. In about a decade and a half, he was able to disarm/dispose of approximately 50,000 explosive remnants of war on his own. In 2007, destiny brought Aki Ra and Bill together and the two joined hands to create CSHD. As Cambodia's only Cambodian NGO dedicated to the disposal of explosive remnants of war, CSHD does

its part alongside other organizations to make Cambodia safe for its people again. CSHD has worked in various villages throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia. Our field officers are trained and certified to be Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Specialists. As EOD Specialists, our brave men and women put their lives on the line every month without any desire for recognition. We follow the Five Pillars of Mine Action set by the United Nations.

5) Stockpile Destruction
