ABCs and Rice offers free education, nutrition and health care to the impoverished children of Siem Reap Cambodia.

It is a safe haven for children otherwise exposed to child labour, abuse or worse. We aim to provide a safe, healthy, fun and loving environment where education and the realization of self worth are of the upmost priority.

The Patti's place is kind of like the second home of them, as we gave them warmth, care, and love like their second family. Can't handle smiling when we see their cute face.🥰

Our nurse team is always dedicated to providing treatment to students who require medical assistance.😊

WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY!
Our dengue appeal is already FULLY FUNDED. Done. Finished. Smashed. ❤️

A few amazingly generous people jumped in and covered the whole thing, so we now have the next few months of mosquito control sorted!!

We will keep doing everything we can to fight dengue and help our kids stay healthy and recover well if they do get sick.

Of course, ABCs and Rice can always use donations because there is never exactly a shortage of things to pay for around here 😂 but this particular little mission is officially COMPLETE.

You Legends .

THANK You! X

Hey all!
Dengue is hitting Siem Reap hard right now. Hospitals are busy, cases are climbing, and with this many children coming through ABCs every day, we are taking it very seriously.

We have brought in a local pest control worker to help us stay on top of it. He is clearing leaves and mosquito breeding areas, removing standing water, checking the grounds, and spraying regularly for the mosquitoes that carry dengue.

The good news is, this is not a huge fundraiser.

It costs us just $50 USD per month.

We would like to keep this going for the next 3 to 4 months, which means we need roughly $150 to $200 USD in total to keep the program running through the worst of dengue season.

So this is one of those little donations that can make a very real difference!

$10 helps. $20 helps. $50 covers an entire month.

If you would like to help us keep the school grounds safer for the kids, you can donate here:

As always, thank you for helping us take care of these kids. Sometimes it is the big projects that matter. Sometimes it is simply $50 worth of mosquito control. ❤️

We had our yearly school meeting today with all the guardians for the yearly results of their kids. We would like to thank all the parents that have spent their valuable time for this meeting and that are so important for knowing about the study results of their kids and helping to encourage any request from the teachers' feedback to adjust their studies further. improve.😊🙏

As Term 3 begins, so do the continuation of our traditional dance classes.

Khmer traditional dance is not just a dance. It is an art that demands patience, discipline, focus, and deep respect. Every movement carries meaning; every gesture connects us to our ancestors, tells our story, and keeps our roots alive.

When it comes to learning Khmer traditional dance, patience and respect are not simply encouraged—they are expected. They are part of the discipline, part of the culture, and part of understanding what this beautiful tradition truly represents.

We learn the steps, but we also learn to honour the tradition behind them. 🌺❤️🙏
