In May, our members returned to Kror Bey Reil Secondary School, where Project G - Empowering Girls conducted a workshop earlier this year. 💖🌟

We met with a total of 60 female students, and 6 are actively using the Kits that Project G provided to them. This is an amazing result and shows how much students awareness of their health needs is growing, along with their understanding of the importance and value of the Kits.

We were also glad that RACSR members had the opportunity to join this follow-up with Project G - Empowering Girls, allowing them to engage directly with students and witness the real impact of the project in the community.🌸

Project T - Trees for Life is back in action! 🌳 This month’s focus was on tree donations, and it all started with a trip to the Run Ta Ek area to interview local villagers and learn more about their needs.

Our RACSR members jumped right in to help! We headed to Block W, where we spent the day interviewing families together. The energy was amazing. The villagers were so excited to bring new life to their land. 🌟❤️

We successfully reached our goal of helping 70 families! A huge thank you to our RACSR members for your hard work in helping the community grow!

On the 4th of this month, we had the pleasure of hosting a meaningful meeting with our special guest, Aviv Palti.

During the session, he shared invaluable insights and thoughtful perspectives with our members. His words encouraged us to reflect deeply on our purpose within the Rotaract Club. Why we choose to serve others, what motivates us to be part of this community, and the impact we strive to create.

He reminded us how fortunate we are to be part of the Rotary family, a global network dedicated to supporting communities and creating positive change. As members, we have the opportunity to represent ourselves as individuals committed to service, compassion, and growth.

This meeting served as a powerful reminder of our shared mission, to contribute meaningfully to society and to uphold the values that define the Rotaract spirit.

A huge thank you to our special guest for his invaluable time to share meaningful advice with us, and all our club members who participated together.

Reading gives you tremendous knowledge. And “Knowledge is power,” Martin Uzochukwu Ugwu said, ‘Sharing knowledge is the key to unlocking that power.” ❤️🌟

By donating 1 or more books, we can bring reading accessibility to rural areas of Cambodia!! 💖📚

Join us in sharing knowledge through books!!

Did you know that our RACSR members have the opportunity to join follow-up activities with Project G?

These follow-up visits help reveal the real impact of their work - how many students are using their Kits, whether they feel comfortable, and if the Kits are being used correctly. We also create a safe and open space for students to ask questions about both the Kits and the health lessons shared.
In April, we returned to Kork Thlork Secondary School, where we had previously conducted a workshop. We met with 50 students, and 33 students are now using the Kits.

This is an encouraging result, showing increased awareness of health needs and a better understanding of the value of the Kits.
We are grateful for the opportunity to join Project G during this follow-up activity. As RACSR members, we were excited to take part, engage with the students, and witness the positive impact.

The work of the Rotaract Club of Siem Reap shows that real change grows slowly but lasts longer. By introducing our Village Street Library in rural communities, they are not just helping for today, but building stronger futures. It’s a reminder that meaningful impact is not about speed. It’s about giving people what they truly need to grow.

We are excited to share that today we came together for a tree donation activity.
This is more than just distributing fruit trees. It’s about giving back to our community and supporting families and they can get benefits from those trees. 🌳

We joined hands with Project T – Trees for Life, distributing 952 fruit trees to 80 families in our community at Run Ta Ek city. 🍃

These fruit trees will not only help create a greener environment, but also provide food and long-term benefits for the families.

We believe small actions like this can lead to big change. Let’s continue to grow and make a difference together

On 21st and 22nd April 2026, WASH Committee members; Kunthea, Vibol, Sarvann, Chen, and Mala successfully participated in a training on “WASH System Strengthening”, organized by the WASH Skills Development Organization in Siem Reap Province.

This training brought together passionate participants, including community leaders, local stakeholders, and development practitioners, to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in improving Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) systems.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored key tools such as:

✔️ Policy and Legislation
✔️ Institutions
✔️ Finace
✔️ Planning
✔️ Monitoring

The training created a collaborative space for sharing experiences, learning best practices, and building stronger partnerships to improve WASH services in communities.

We believe that strengthening WASH systems is essential for promoting public health, dignity, and sustainable development.

Thank you to all participants and partners for your active engagement and commitment to making a difference.

This month, our Rotaract members took part in the Family Support Program, where we delivered food and essential supplies to families around Siem Reap city and in rural areas.

Before delivering the supplies, our team went to the market to purchase food and daily necessities, knowing these items would directly support families in their everyday lives. After checking all the materials and making sure everything was correct, we went directly to each family we had planned to visit.

We received a warm welcome from every family, and we were glad to see their smiles and happiness when they saw us. It was touching to know that we not only helped families with supplies but also encouraged them to lift themselves up from poverty. This mission also connected us with them, and we will continue to strengthen our community through these meaningful actions. 💙

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” — Malcolm X. At RACSR, we turn this belief into action through our Reading Campaign, bringing books to rural communities and helping children prepare for a brighter future.
