Let's talk about HIV! ❤️

This week, Beautiful Life Organisation (BLO) facilitated an interactive HIV awareness session with the Heads of Department at TUI BLUE Angkor Grace in Siem Reap!

Together, we explored HIV transmission, prevention and treatment, challenged common myths and misconceptions, and discussed the importance of reducing HIV-related stigma and discrimination.

Through interactive activities and open discussions, participants had the opportunity to share their knowledge, ask questions and reflect on how we can all contribute to creating safer, more informed and supportive communities.

And this is just the beginning! 🌟

Following this initial session, we're looking forward to continuing the conversation with the hotel's wider team of approximately 140 staff members over a series of upcoming workshops.

A big thank you to the management team and participants for their openness, enthusiasm and commitment to learning!

Because HIV awareness isn't just about understanding the virus — it's also about understanding and respecting the people living with it ❤️

💙 BLO was pleased to join Plan International Cambodia's consultation workshop on 21 October, contributing to discussions that will help shape their next Country Strategy (2027–2031).

It was a valuable opportunity to share our experiences and perspectives, particularly around the inclusion, rights and needs of children and young people with diverse SOGIESC.

Thank you to Plan International Cambodia for creating space for partners and stakeholders to contribute to this important process 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

✨ Confidence, one step at a time 👠🌈

Our second Catwalk Practice Session took place on Sunday, bringing together young people for another evening of movement, self-expression and confidence-building!

From practising posture and walking techniques to striking a pose, participants had the opportunity to learn new skills, support one another and, most importantly, have fun! 💃✨

These sessions are about more than just walking a runway — they're about building confidence, celebrating individuality and creating a supportive space where everyone can express themselves freely. ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who joined us! We can't wait to see those runway skills continue to grow! 🌈👏

🌈💜 From Cambodia to the Global Stage: Amplifying LGBTIQ+ Voices in Development! 🌏✊

Beautiful Life Organisation (BLO) is proud to have joined APCOM and regional partners at the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing the voices and lived experiences of LGBTIQ+ communities in Cambodia into global conversations on development, economic opportunities and health financing 🏳️‍🌈

💬 Our message is clear: Development cannot be truly inclusive if LGBTIQ+ communities are left behind. Everyone, regardless of their s*xual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or s*x characteristics, deserves equal access to healthcare, decent work, economic opportunities and essential services.

At BLO, we believe that meaningful inclusion begins by listening to communities, recognising their lived realities, and ensuring they have a voice in decisions that shape their futures.

💜 A heartfelt thank you to APCOM for creating this meaningful opportunity and for continuing to amplify community voices across Asia.

Last weekend was a very special one for two members of the Beautiful Life Organisation team, as our Program Manager, Seangheang, and Project Officer, Lyhuor, celebrated their graduation from Paññāsāstra International School - Siem Reap! 🎓 ✨

We are incredibly happy to celebrate this achievement with them and recognise all the hard work, commitment and perseverance that brought them to this moment.

Alongside their studies, both Seangheang and Lyhuor have brought their knowledge, skills and energy to their work with BLO and the communities we support — and we’re very proud to have them as part of our team 💛

🌈 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 Childhood!

Last week, we were very happy to welcome Erika from the World Childhood Foundation to A Place To Be Yourself.

It was a great opportunity to share updates and reflections from our 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘦, 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 project, talk about what we've learned throughout 2026 and show how the project has helped us strengthen our work with children, young people, families and communities with diverse SOGIESC.

We also had the chance to look ahead together — sharing some of our ideas for how the work could continue and grow in 2027, including new approaches to community empowerment, awareness raising, stronger partnerships and more sustained support.

We're very grateful to Childhood for their support this year, and to Erika for taking the time to visit, listen, ask questions and exchange ideas with our team 💜
