Our duty at Rotary Club Angkor Siem Reap is to find local Khmer people in real need and provide help and assistance to them to better their lives. We are very passionate and focused on the work Rotary Club Angkor Siem Reap does and we work together to lessen peoples suffering and break the cycle of poverty. lowing categories: Education, Medical and Dental, Hygiene and Sanitation and Agriculture and Organic Farming. Siem Reap is famous worldwide for Angkor Wat and the temples. The history of the Angkor era is glorious and magnificent. The temples and Angkor Wat today are breathtaking and just beautiful to visit. However not far from the grand entrance of Angkor Wat many local people live in poverty and struggle to find enough money to feed their family. Life here is lived day by day and these people are waiting for a helping hand. Our Club is doing our best to extend our power to help these people wherever possible. We work with Rotary clubs from all over the world to help. Here in Cambodia a small amount of help provides the highest value. We want to make a difference to people’s lives and make the world a better place. Rotary Club Angkor Siem Reap believes that the way forward in Cambodia to make positive change is to focus on the importance of Education. Education holds the key to change on many levels for the Cambodian population. Our club has made it our primary focus to provide assistance for Education programs and projects in the Angkor area.
