OVOP Odor Meanchey ភូមិមួយផលិតផលមួយខេត្តឧត្តរមានជ័យ មេត្តាជួយគាំទ្ររចលនាភូមិមួយផលិតផល? The One Village One Product Movement (OVOP) initially began in Oita, Japan in 1979.

This movement arose from a context in which the living standards of Japanese people in Oita, a remote province located, were poor and there was a high rate of migration, in particular by young people, leaving for seeking jobs in the city. This migration led to the situation of business, agriculture, handicrafts, as well as agricultural production facing difficulties in meeting the actual needs of the people living in the villages and districts of Oita Province.
