កាលពីថ្ងៃទី០៧ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ អង្គការវ័តធឺអេតកម្ពុជា បានរៀបចំការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី សមភាពយេនឌ័រ ពិការភាព និងបរិយាន្នសង្គម ព្រមទាំងកិច្ចគាំពារកុមារ និងមនុស្សពេញវ័យ ទៅដល់ភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធដែលអញ្ជើញមកពីក្រសួង និងអាជ្ញាធរស្រុក និងតំណាងមកពីស្ថានីយផលិតទឹកស្អាតគោលដៅនៃគម្រោងដែលមានអ្នកចូលរួមសរុបចំនួន២៧ នាក់ (ស្ត្រី១៣ នាក់)។

គោលបំណងនៃការបណ្តុះបណ្តាល៖
💧ដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់ការយល់ដឹងដល់អ្នកចូលរួម តាមរយៈការបង្ហាញនូវការការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្ត និងគោលនយោបាយនៃកិច្ចគាំពារកុមារ និងមនុស្សពេញវ័យរបស់អង្គការវ័តធឺអេត ព្រមទាំងការកំណត់នូវកង្វល់នានាទាក់ទងនឹងកិច្ចគាំពារ និងការឆ្លើយតបទៅនឹងហានិភ័យដែលពាក់ព័ន្ធ។

On 7 July 2026, WaterAid Cambodia organised a GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) & Safeguarding Training for government stakeholders and partners with a total of 27 participants (13 females).

The training aim:
💧To strengthen participants' understanding of WaterAid's safeguarding commitments, policies, and principles while enhancing their capacity to identify, prevent, and respond to safeguarding risks.
💧To learn about safeguarding reporting mechanisms, their roles and responsibilities in creating safe environments, and the importance of integrating GEDSI data into the tracking and monitoring of piped water connections to ensure that no one is left behind.

Training of Trainers: Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change

On 23-24 July 2026, NASLA, CDPO and WaterAid Cambodia collaboratively organized a Training of Trainers on Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change, with future trainers from their respective institutions as well as representatives from relevant ministries, including MoE, NCDM, DAC, MRD, MISTI and MoWA.

The purposes of the training are:
💧To facilitate the training and necessary coaching for core trainers at the national level in preparation for the upcoming pilot trainings, and
💧To define roles and actions to support the rollout of the pilot trainings.

Congratulations to Svay Chuk Health Center on being ranked #8 among Model Public Service Providers in the Health Sector for 2025!

With support from the Australian Government through the Australian Non-Governmental Cooperation Program ( ), WaterAid Cambodia has collaborated with the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Department of Health, the Kampong Tralach District Health Office, and Svay Chuk Health Center to implement a project aimed at improving climate-resilient and sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in health care facilities from 2018 to 2026.

Key interventions include:
💧 Providing training for health workers and technical support to strengthen climate-resilient WASH services and infrastructure.
🧼 Integrating infection prevention and control (IPC) practices into the health system.
🤝 Promoting health workers as leaders in WASH and increasing the participation of women and vulnerable groups in IPC committees.
📊 Strengthening the capacity of health workers to plan, manage, and sustain climate-resilient WASH services.
📈 Enhancing feedback mechanisms, coordination, and information management systems to support WASH planning and financing in health care facilities.

Building on these achievements, WaterAid Cambodia hopes that Svay Chuk Health Center will continue to uphold this strong culture of excellence and serve as a leading model for delivering safe, quality, and equitable health services by sustaining and further improving its WASH services.

At the same time, WaterAid Cambodia hopes that these achievements and successful experiences will serve as a source of inspiration and valuable lessons for promoting and scaling up good practices to other health centers in our target areas, ultimately contributing to improved health and well-being for all, while ensuring that no one is left behind.

Incredible impact is made possible when NGOs partner with corporations to reach more people with access to clean water. WaterAid Cambodia’s recent work with support from VF Corporation’s The VF Foundation demonstrates measurable improvements in health, productivity, and system performance by embedding water, sanitation, and hygiene into factory operations and surrounding communities.

🚰 Big results, lasting impact.

In phase two of the project, we exceeded our target by 74%, reaching 183,548 people with improved water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services across Cambodia's garment sector and surrounding communities.

Key achievements:

✅ 80%+ improvement in worker wellbeing reported

WaterAid Cambodia, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Rural Development ( ), the Provincial Department of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation ( ), and the two target districts, with the support of the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), conducted Annual Program Reflection Workshop with 41 participants (23 women).

The workshop aimed to reflect on achievements, share lessons learned, and prepare priority plans for 2026–2027 on 29 and 30 June 2026 at Tonle Bassac Restaurant.

កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ រដ្ឋបាលស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្តាល សហការជាមួយអង្គការវ័តធឺអេតកម្ពុជា ដោយមានការគាំទ្រពីកម្មវិធីសហប្រតិបត្តិការអង្គការមិនមែនរដ្ឋាភិបាលអូស្ត្រាលីបានរៀបចំវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីពី “ឧបករណ៍លើកកម្ពស់គណនេយ្យភាពលើសេវាផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកស្អាតតាមបំពង់ ការកសាងសមត្ថភាពទៅលើតួនាទីភារកិច្ច និងការទទួលខុសត្រូវអ្នកផ្តល់សេវា និងអ្នកទទួលសេវា” ដោយមានការចូលរួមពីគ្រូបង្គោលតំណាងមន្ទីរអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ជនបទ គ្រូបង្គោលតំណាងមន្ទីរឧស្សាហកម្ម វិទ្យាសាស្រ្ត បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍ គ្រូបង្គោលតំណាងថ្នាក់ស្រុក តំណាងឃុំ និងអាជីវករទឹកស្អាត។

គោលបំណងនៃកម្មវិធីគឺដើម្បី
💧ស្វែងយល់អំពីដំណើរការនៃឧបករណ៍គណនេយ្យភាពលើសេវាផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកស្អាតតាមបំពង់។
💧បង្កើនការយល់ដឹងជាក់ស្តែងនៃដំណើរការអនុវត្តន៍ការដាក់ពិន្ទុសហគមន៍។
💧អ្នកចូលរួមសាកល្បងកំណត់រកបណ្តុំសកម្មភាពរៀបចំផែនការ សកម្មភាព និងលក្ខណៈវិនិឆ្ឆ័យនៃសេវាទឹកស្អាត និងអនាម័យ។
💧រៀងចំផែនការអនុវត្តន៍បន្ត អំពីឧបករណ៍គណនេយ្យភាពលើសេវាផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកស្អាតតាមបំពង់ តាមបណ្តាឃុំ។

On 11 May 2026, the Ksach Kandal Administration, in coordination with WaterAid Cambodia and with the support of the Australian NGO Cooperation Program ( ), organised a training course on “Tools to Promote Accountability in Piped Water Supply Services: Capacity Building on the Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities of Service Providers and Service Recipients,” with participation from focal points from the Provincial Department of Rural Development ( ), the Provincial Department of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation ( ), district and commune administrations, and private operators.

Objectives:
💧To enhance understanding of accountability tools for water supply service delivery.
💧To increase knowledge of accountability processes and tools, particularly the Community Scorecard approach.
💧To improve understanding of the roles and responsibilities of service providers and service users/receivers.
💧To strengthen planning and preparation for the implementation of the Community Scorecard process.
